Popular Post PHILIPRISING
Anton is our asset. He would come in on 7.94. SHOULD be no such thing as an asset. Legally and morally wrong. If a rider doesn't have a contract then he neither belongs to or is an asset of any club... full stop.
poolebolton
Shamek is a rider for Poole has a contract with us. Lets face it im sure Matt has it all sorted he usually does.

Is this one of the reasons the Elite has lost many riders of quality when the better riders are owned as an asset by a small number of greedy promotions ? stevebrum
What do you mean 'you'? Im not a Poole fan you melt  you as in Poole fans as this is a Poole thread. Didn't look at who I was responding to so my bag you schmuck.
foreverblue
I expect Kenny Bjerre could be in for one or two guest appearances bit surprised he isn't doubling up for a EL team now he has a PL team place.

If a rider doesn't have a contract then he neither belongs to or is an asset of any club... full stop. But there is such thing as assets and has been for years. Col
Sayfutdinov average reduced due to not riding in GP's for 3 years & never getting a British Average, comes in on 3 points to replace Kurtz, leaving space for Milik to replace Ellis & Lindback to replace Newman. Both have signed up for ACU 2 month licensees as Elite Draft Riders.
RobMcCaffery
Is this one of the reasons the Elite has lost many riders of quality when the better riders are owned as an asset by a small number of greedy promotions ? I'd suggest it has a lot more to do with money wanted by the riders. Edited August 31, 2016 by rmc
Panthers89
I expect Kenny Bjerre could be in for one or two guest appearances bit surprised he isn't doubling up for a EL team now he has a PL team place. Doesn't sound like he wants to do too many meetings, as rejected a couple of elite league teams to ride for the Panthers as he has unfinished business for us in the play offs. g13webb
But there is such thing as assets and has been for years.  There shouldbe no such thing as wildcards in the gps either but that will also never change no matter how wrong it is  I disagree with you on both accounts, First one is quite simply dated and does nothing for the sport. Riders should be on signed contracts only. when that contract has finished, then the rider becomes a free agent. Also, For Poole take on board a sponsor and bring their rider assets with him make it more of a farce than normal...  Wild Cards are much more common sense. What harm is there in including a local rider, to bring in local punters, in a sport that needs all the help it can get. . I'd say that's Common Sense...
waiheke1
I assume pinny is referring to the 4 series wildcards rather than the individual gp local wildcards. History would show though that these wildcards typically out perform those who come through the qualifiers. I for one would be very reluctant to see those wildcards dispensed with.

chris4gillian
Loving all this 'personal speculation' on this thread. Until Matt Ford makes an announcement (if he indeed ever does) the team remains unchanged albeit with the enforced R/R for Hans for the time being.
foreverblue
lookin into my crystal ball ican see chris harris guesting for poole at wolves Maybe not for monday though if the 7 day rule still applies probably not wise to get a Belle Vue rider again either! mdmc82
Posted on Twitter by Hans. Could be good news for Poole as no head injury and doesn't say anything about staying out injured for the rest of the season  hansi_andersenI see various rumours are floating about what's happen to me Monday. Yes I crashed heavily and my body has taken a beaten. I've broken a finger on my left hand (like I did last year at Swindon) and apart from that and some bruises I'm fine and a few days rest will do me good before SGP Challenge on Saturday #34 #BackOnTheBigStage2017 #CanSupportMe

I know i said we could be better with a replacement but probably the best option is to have a fully fit Hans. Hopefully he can use his sec bike for the gp challenge and the play offs which seems to have more power than the one he has been using over here.
