Rye House V Berwick... Koc Qf 2nd Leg... 29/8/2016... 3pm

Recommended Posts

Berwick defend a 16 point lead from the first leg. I can't see any way the Rockets can overhaul this. The best home points tally this year was 55 points. Only been in the 50's four times in total.

I can see a home win by around 8 points, not enough

Liam Carr is our hero, made a mockery of riders like Kenneth Hansen and the like last night

Carr was fantastic last night, and he`s been in decent form of late for both his teams, some of his away scores for Berwick aren't always what they could be so hopefully with the confidence he has right now will help tomorrow and see us through to the semi finals.

Rye House to win , but by how much is the big question , 16 points is only 4 5-1s and Berwick have a tendancy to lose 1-5s in Hts 13 &15 ,especially away from home , no MPT this time or Luke Bowen for Berwick so it could be close overall come the end of the meeting

No r/r for Peter Karger which got them 7+2 in league match although they do now have Branford in their team

In the unlikely event Berwick get through to the semi=final and are serious about going further in the cup maybe they should think about replacing Stachyra with Busk Jacobsen-if it's not too late now to make team changes

Its certainly worth thinking about, and part of Peterborough`s changes mean that Ashley Morris is also available and he played a big part in the Panthers recent win at Berwick, I wonder if making two changes would come into this promotions thinking.

If its as good as the PL fixture at Hoddesdon earlier in the season, I will be very happy.

I guess we can't expect a coach party this time but it would be good to see as many Bandidos in the stadium as possible. Always provide mega (phone) support the Berwick fans and a pleasure to see them around the tracks as they are real speedway people.

Having had my last three fixtures fall foul to the weather, I am hopeful that this one is on, that Emma's track side prep is appreciated and that the Pinjer Ninja and the Danish Friendly Ghost have a track prepared for them again so that we get to see some blasts from the back from two of the most entertaining riders in the PL.

(Also hoping that Steve has completed the "Sponsors' Lounge" for this fixture, LOL LOL LOL.

Weather forecast is sunny intervals, 21 celcius. The clouds will clear by late afternoon/early evening.
