screm
Lindgren it is. Bjerre would have been terrible. ?
SCB
Bjerre nearly making history as only the 2nd PL rider to make the GP series. So close! Actually lead the race twice.
PHILIPRISING
PROBABLY the result BSI dreamed about ... two great additions to the SGP squad and a Swede not needing a wild card.

Col
So could the Danes be entirely reliant on wildcards to be represented in next years GPs? Or can Iversen, Kildemand or Pedersen make the top 8?
Fromafar
When you watched Lindgren on Monday night it was hard to believe it was the same rider as today.Think it really shows what they think of GB just topping up earnings.! screm
With three Poles already in the top eight, and possibly there to stay, and another Pole in next year with Dudek, will BSI award Hampel a one of the wild card picks for next season, probably not IMO. HenryW
Great ride from Lindgren. But we can expect KB to be in the GP at some time in 2017.. When was the last time 4th place didn't get a ride ? The reserves for the season used to come from the GP challenge but they are now selected. There is no guarantee that Bjerre will be on the reserves list despite finishing 4th today.
JCookie
Shame for Bjerre who you'd have thought would've gone through on countback. Neither really offer anything to the GPs but at least Bjerre isn't like the annoying Jack Russell that won't leave the GPs alone.
New Science
Lindgren will be in next year no matter what. He will be either 8th, a wild card or qualify from tonight. Pawlicki will either be top 8 or wildcard as well. If Bjerre wins he deserves his place as he has qualified by right. If 2 Poles qualify by right through the top 8 plus Dudek there wont be any wildcards for the Poles.Regardless of ability the GP will have to have to have 2 Swedes and 2 Danes Edited September 3, 2016 by New Science

brandonbee48
Hi all, From the world's worst forecaster, i'll go for Vaculik, Dudek and Ljung. That immediately scuppers their chances Lets hope for an injury free meeting. Alan. 2 out of 3 from the old bozo !!

KK should have bought his British bikes along this afternoon! With three Poles already in the top eight, and possibly there to stay, and another Pole in next year with Dudek, will BSI award Hampel a one of the wild card picks for next season, probably not IMO. Doubt he will get a wildcard. 5 Poles is too many and there needs to be riders from a selection of countries. Lambert completely outclassed. Expected him to score 6-7 so that is disappointing. We do need two Brits in the series. Just who, is the issue.

Riders placed 4-6 in the GP challenge are used in order, if more riders are needed then BIS/FIM can select anyone they want. This is the second time in a row that Lindgren finished top 3 in the GP challenge on this track. Not so sure why we need two Brits, apart from Woffinden there isn't another credible alternative, maybe Lambert one day will be good enough but as today shows he is a long way from mixing it against these sorts of riders. You're going to have to put me out of my misery. I can't think who the other is Stonehewer and ......

Michael Jepsen Jensen is 2nd reserve for this season despite not racing in the GP challenge last year. Edit - Of course he was maybe selected to replace PK who got a wild card. That would make sense from the way you describe it. Edited September 3, 2016 by HenryW
