Britain should have two riders in the comp minimum, so give Lambert a wild card in place of Harris if he fails to qualify.

Loads of potential but until he does something on a world stage he does not deserve a wild card. How can any sensible person say he is in the worlds top 15 riders.

If he qualifies then brilliant. If not it's probably a year too soon for a wildcard. First reserve would be nice though.

Peoplevsaid the same about Woofinden. In his first year he struggled but it was a learning experience.

and why exactly Britain should have two riders in the GP series minimum?

Because even though speedwy in Britain is struggling at this time, we are still one of the major nations. One rider out of 16 is not enough. What would be the point loading the GP with 5-6 or more Poles, who are all good but rarely outstanding on the world stage?

There has to be a variety of nations and Britain deserves more than one berth IMO.

No more Poles would be preferable. Three is enough. Having half a dozen Poles out of 16 would stifle the competition. Variety is the spice and the more different nations the better Imo.

Poland produces good riders that seem to lack that killer edge and consistency on the world stage. One race a world beater, then next at the back. Of course its my opinion and many will completely disagree with me.

A top three next week of Dudek, KK and god forbid Jedrzejak would not be good for the series.

Woffy had been an 8+ EL rider and was riding in Poland. Lambert has a near 7 point EL average, no polish experience and is averaging about 4 in Sweden.

Id he makes it he'll get my full support but he's still a little short of GP level of he's relying on a wildcard IMO.
