Edinburgh V Glasgow , Ko Cup Semi Final 2nd Leg Fri 26th August 2016 At 7-30 P.m.

Recommended Posts

This Friday the brave Tigers foot soldiers attempt to venture into the watery wastelands of the West Lothian rainforest to defend our 24 point lead in this KO Cup quarter final .

According to one of the Chuckle Bothers , Edinburgh have a team full of Armadale experts ( duh , really ) while we have none . Certainly Dan Bewley becoming the hottest property in the Premier League now has made our quest to reach the holy grail of 34 points all the more challenging .

Anyway here's hoping Aaron , Richie and the lads can don their wetsuits and surf their way to a semi final meeting with the Rebels .

Should the Colts fixture not take precedence for the prodigy? I'm lost with the rules these days.

well if it concerns Edinburgh then any rule ' always ' suits them... Quite easy to understand i think :)

If Bewley is riding for BV then they must be waving the white flag ;)

Nope - passed me by.

Friday 15th July was a standard rain-off.

....of the koc, so this is a rearranged fixture, I would imagine (unless Belle Vue is also rearranged,(this could get messy)) then the bspa will order them to release him as they did for the rearranged meeting at scunthorpe..

So to be clear - weegies hold a 24 point lead from the first leg and are so scared of a wee 17 year old kid who has been on a speedway bike only a few months and has an assessed average of 3 (because his real average was lower) and who scored 1 point in the first leg, that they cannae bear the thought of him turning up at Armadiddle on Friday?

Priceless!!

Get a grip of yourselves!!

actually , when it suits them they like to beat us to death with the rule book

I hope both teams are at full strength though , then no excuses from either of us

Anyway , Bewley or not , if we canny score 34 on Friday night against them we want to chuck it .

Cannot see the overall score ever being in doubt that the Tigs will progress, even if Ryan Fisher had not broken two bones in his foot.

Just looking forward to some decent racing on a dry evening with hopefully, Dan Bewley continuing his progress as he appears to now glide effortlessly in full flight.

Why would Dan the Wee Man be riding for BV?

Armadiddle 's home night is a Friday - 26th August is I believe a Friday.

For consistency, Bewley should be riding for Belle Vue on Friday over a re-arranged fixture for Monarchs. Either that, or the BSPA/SCB/Edinburgh should acknowledge a mistake was made regarding the Scunthorpe v Edinburgh meeting and award the points from that meeting to the Scorpions.

All the best

Rob
