foamfence
Funny though that Eddie Kennett has never been the same since the discovery of his erm 'modified' silencers.

He said: “Maybe I’m setting the bike up to suit how they used to act 10 years ago. You can’t really run it like that with these exhausts and the way the bikes are now. I hope you are not suggesting this is "guff"!!!!!

Team GB is going to be pits next season. Because there isn't really a logical reason for the majority of people to dislike him...
dazzafl
6 years to almost figure out a problem surely not though.. bomber is a nice guy but this is a lame excuse.. and this topic isn't about Tai he has enough topics about him really
Gresham
I think it just shows how reliant riders have become on getting the set up right at each meeting. Plus he hasn't fixed the problem yet...he alludes to still not finding the right set up that suits him, and his riding style. He also mentions it has affected other riders who were consistent, and then not the next meeting. I'd agree with that... These riders are all talented. I can guarantee if you put Bomber on a bike that was equal for all riders, he'd still be one of the best. He's a talented rider...it's a shame for Speedway that it's all about the 'set up' now. He needs to employ a pit crew that can help him out then .6years come on!

Lord Skid
Chris has had some of the best Mechanics in the game, pity he didn't choose to listen to them, instead of the hangers on he seems to attract.
dazzafl
Absolutely Hilarious , Woffinden comes up with all manner of crap to excuse his behaviour ,turning his back on british speedway, turning his back on Team GB , and all the Wooffy toadies and fanboys lap it up . Bomber triees to explain his inconsistency and lack of results at the highest level , in an honest interview ,and the same wooffy toadies can do nothing but berate him . God that's some tripe.. Inconsistency is rubbish he does ok in the British league but not on the world stage.. and 6 years and only just realised it's set up.. it's always been about set up right gearing etc etc.. he changed his engines etc.. think we just need to realise he is great in the elite league world stage to many better riders out there now it's not all set up.. bomber is a great bloke and I think he is a good rider he is just outclassed on the world stage now.. tai is on top of his game riding wise just not so great at pr but oh well.. Not far out.Bomber is the toughest and bravest rider out there imho.Mr reliable. But a 7 odd point EL rider isn't going to set the world alight in GP's.If he qualifies then he's earned his place. As for 6 years to sort the silencer thing out, well
Gemini
He needs to employ a pit crew that can help him out then .6years come on! I think Bomber must have had the most amount of changes to his pit crew over those 6 years than any other rider. Surely one of them could have sorted him out. I like Chris and it's great being able to see him at Coventry but I think the time has come for him to accept that he's just outclassed in G.P's and bow out gracefully at the end of the season.
