stevebrum
Surprised there is no thread for this meeting yet. All matches are now must wins and with Lakeside moving above us will be looking to add at least a point. Thoughts and predictions? Will go with 50-42
SteveLyric2
Lakeside on the road have been generally woeful - with the odd exception!! Wolves should win this at a canter. 55-
BWitcher
Lakeside generally have struggled on the road this year, however of course, Wolves is a small track so one there riders can get round. That said I don't expect Wolves to have too many problems in dealing with them. Let's face it, if we are going to have any joy in the play-offs we will need to be winning such meetings comfortably. Hopefully Tai settles in with a decent return.
foreverblue
Its funny, a few weeks ago when wolves were top of the league some of their fan were saying stuff like 'it's only important what kind of form you are in come September' and even implying attending home meetings wasn't important so the lack of interest in what is now a vital cup qualifier is understandable. It is common knowledge that the points tally required to qualify for the cup is around the 52 mark so the smugness was baffling to say the least. That attitude has seen wolves slump from top to fifth! Luckily the promoter doesn't agree and has brought in the world champion no less to steady the ship and spark the fan out of their apathy. There were some odd results at the end of last season which saw Kings Lynn fail to qualify, it would be a disaster if the team that could fit the world champion in didn't make it this year. Come on wolves fan, if Coventry fans can show enough support to save their stadium surely you lot can at least back your promoter, who has done a brilliant job to spend all that money to get the world champion in, so get out their and support your team and save your season from dribbling away. For the teams struggling to qualify form is important now whatever any of your fan thinks. I thought you said Wolves will qualify no problem!

foreverblue
I actually said the top three have all but qualified so I would put 'will probably qualify no problem' if you want to use you own words. Funilly enough that was in a post when I quoted you saying "i expect Belle Vue to be resting Zagar". Ok fair enough nearly the same! I dont think i said i expect Belle Vue to rest Zagar and if i did it was a flippamt remark in jest not to be taken seriously. I did mention his apparently burned neck which he missed a previous meeting for and you said you wouldnt risk him Edited August 21, 2016 by foreverblue
Perton Wolf
Slightly surprising but Woffinden is in at no3 tomorrow, Masters at no5.
LisaColette
Slightly surprising but Woffinden is in at no3 tomorrow, Masters at no5.Hmmm, I'm not surprised! Good idea to ride in middle order when first meeting back, no pressure.

Think Woofy is used to pressure. It doesn't matter where he rides he will score plenty.Wolves to get 56pts.

stevebrum
Its funny, a few weeks ago when wolves were top of the league some of their fan were saying stuff like 'it's only important what kind of form you are in come September' and even implying attending home meetings wasn't important Who are the some? It IS vitally important to be in good form in September that there is no dispute. It's vital if we are 1st or 5th at this stage too. Name me one Wolves who said attending home matches wasn't important as I haven't read one such comment? Obviously you will have the quote ready. stevebrum
Show me one post claiming a wolves fan said attending home matches wasn't important. Obviously you will have the quote ready, lol! As expected you don't have one. Jackanory is back.

Some wolves fan implying he doesn't know what implying means. Demanding a quote for something that was implied was a bit of a giveaway, ha ha! That'll be your second epic bsf fail of the week, good work, not! So its clear when you say "some say it's only important what kind of form you are in come September" you actually mean one person ie me. Another exaggeration. you then claimed "some implied it wasn't important attending home matches" but I have yet to read a post implying that so I assumed you had a ready made post proving you right. I will wait for one of these posts by "some" implying that. No need to debate further just a simple quote with the implication attached will suffice as clearly I have missed one of these posts of 2 you claim. stevebrum
The fact you missed out "fan" in your quote confirms a massive textbook whoosh. At least you've looked up the meaning of implying, are you sure you want a quote, lol! Some of their fan. LMFAO I can now see where the issue of education comes into play. Being wooshed by this kind of grammar says it all I guess, unlike a quote.
INCOGNITO
Match winning performance for Wroclaw yesterday from Woffinden saw them sneak into the play offs and should do the same for Wolverhampton with three home meetings in 7 days likely to get nine points. Also makes them stronger away and in heat 15 and starting at number three gives better options for use as a tactical ride if required, especially away. Wolves to win by 10 at least with a very strong top five that will be hard to beat over two legs against any team.

Never advise a potential newbie to have a gander on the BSF to find out a bit more about how speedway works! They'd run a mile!!!
