Steve Shovlar
Swindon need to be completely fired up and try to win at Belle Vue. They have done it once, time to do it again. Rosco needs to make sure his boys have their best gear over.
hyabb17
Doyley is on fire at the mo, Tungate seems to be in some decent form. it's our reserves at the moment, seems to be struggling which against BV isn't a good thing. Hopefully a good week for those two can get there confidence up before next Wednesday.

foreverblue
Stefan Neilsen breaks a finger nail and Palm-Toft guests. I think we both agreed before MPT is a good guest, can't gate but decent rider on a surprisingly low average, he obviously hasn't been riding like that all season. The team seem to be getting it together at the right time although not getting carried away with this result. Can't really see us getting a result at Belle Vue so we won't finish top but we still have a good chance of winning over two legs,

stevebrum
All brewing up nicely as we head for the play offs with places and top place still up for grabs. An exciting time to be a speedway fan . Lakeside and Swindon match could make or break 4th place. I hope SKY show the match.
SUPERACE
Poole still favourites to finish top. With a track specialist in for Andersen, who only scored 6 from 5 the other week, should be enough for the away win at Belle Vue and then a 4 point away win at KL will put them on 61 points. We can still reach 61 points but thanks to Pooles massive home advantage (statistically the biggest of any club) their massive positive race points difference will see them home. I'd prefer that anyway as Poole will probably pick Swindon or Lakeside which leaves us with the plum tie of the knockout bit against the world champion and anything after that is just a bonus with the rent paid for yet another in one night. I disagree that anything more than a semi is a bonus. Anything but winning the title this season will be disappointing, whats fun about losing a semi final. Indeed - I'm hoping that Wolves can gatecrash the party but Belle Vue & Poole really do look a class above. No doubt Woffinden has helped to close that gap though........... Belle vue need to beat poole, Swindon doesnt matter. But if poole beat belle vue they are then clear favourites.
Crazy robin
The Robins need to get a point at Belle Vue but will be cannon fodder if they make the playoffs.
SUPERACE
Winning is the priority. Play offs will be a big crowd anyway, nothing to do with woffiden riding.
Steve Shovlar
They can't survive on crowds like tonight that's for sure. Less than 680 advanced tickets when I looked this afternoon is the lowest of the season. Money in the bank has to be the priority so hopefully Poole don't pick the world champion despite their easy aggregate wins over his team this year. The promotion here just don't seem to have a clue how to promote. Mondays meeting is massive. The place should be packed. Are there flyers plastered all over the city? Radio ads? Newspaper interviews leading up to the meeting? If not why not? Get out there and promote the bloody place otherwise Belle Vue will be knocking on next door asking if they can come back! I agree the promotion needs to be so much better, but the crowds are better than last year overall, but thats not because of promoting as there isnt any. As for advanced sales, most including myself pay on the day and always will do. The Aces have a great stadium and great track and an excellent team, the management need to do better. Monday won't be packed out, though there will be plenty more there than tonight. As for the Leicester match, Wednesdays might be a popular night for racing in Poole, Birmingham & other tracks - but in Manchester it just doesn't work, new stadium or not, always a big drop-off. As a result of the early season issues, rider availability & just get the fixtures in, we've had to run on them regardless, knowing this in advance. With a better structured fixture list (hopefully) in 2017, & far more Friday/Saturday home fixtures for the Aces (which was the original intention at the planning meeting in Gorton Monastry many moons ago) then crowd figures should pick up. If not, then we should look again. You never know, with that better planned fixture list you might see a home match or two round Wimborne Road in June 2017. mdmc82
Shame that Belle Vue won't be at full strength against Poole. No Fricke again so it's Paddy guesting and RR for Nicholls. Great chance for Poole to get something away now
LisaColette
Oh I don't know, r/r for Nicholls probably makes them stronger, hasn't exactly been great around there. This excluded last nights meeting as I haven't seen the scorers!
