Steve0
I'm going for a Swindon win. Like BritPete said, they are unpredictable but given that a play-off place is at stake, I think the Roobins will raise their game and come out victorious
thecoombdog
A ten point win? In my dreams. More like a 4 point defeat. Not sure what Swindon fans are so down on their team. Doyle is in the form of his life. If Sedgmen gates he is gone. Morris has woken up and smashed in some big scores. Tungate is having his best ever season and Josh G always raises his game. With Wright back Swindon have decent reserves. They are far from pushovers. Â 4 points either way. With Doyle in heats 13 and 15 Poole need a decent lead by the end of heat 12. Â Should make an exciting Sky meeting. Sedgy hasn't made a gate for 5 meetings hence his scores. Morris has had 1 good meeting. Wright been poor compared to how he started the season. We are realistic when we say we will get beat rather. We lost at home to Leicester FFS!

I'll have a £20 bet that Poole win Steve & the loser donates it to the Ben Fund if you're that confident?.  You haven't watched these riders go from good to bad in each meeting with no-one having a clue what they're going to do from week to week. SCB
Newman stays there. Bjarne moves up into the team with Kurtz replacing him next change.baring disasters in the next two weeks Bjarne will go to heat leader in 2 weeks time with Kurtz dropping to reserve. Buzz will drop to second string
dump that clutch
very surprised the admission is still £17 sheets.. not the usual £10 for a televised meeting..?

Are you on the wind up or what Nick has had one decent away meeting Sedgmen i like but most of the year at home he has looked slow.Doyley has been beaten a few times at home and Rohan has really found the abbey hard work but overall he has done well this Poole side should win with the talent they have. foreverblue
At the current moment you wouldn't expect Doyle to be beaten by anyone, Sedgeman seemed to start the season well but hasn't performed that well in recent weeks but he did get a reasonable score at Kings Lynn so not sure what to expect from him. Morris has been poor but improved lately, Tungate has been pretty good overall but i haven't seen him at Swindon.Overall Poole should win but you never know. Shale Searcher
********weather watch************ Â Although it's not on the met office forecast yet for Swindon, there is a chance of one or two heavy showers tomorrow afternoon/evening triggered by the warm(er) temperatures... Â They shouldn't be heavy enough to effect the meeting going ahead or not, but if you've had some heavy rain overnight, it will need some track work tomorrow to hoik away any laying water..... A ORLOV
We have had rain overnight but now weather dry with light cloud. There is a small amount of rain due between 3 and 5pm but it is a bit windy that should dry the track out.
SteveLyric2
very surprised the admission is still £17 sheets.. not the usual £10 for a televised meeting..?  Why reduce the price when you are pretty much guaranteed a decent crowd - TV or no TV!?  Reduce it to £10 for one adult and one Under-16, when the opponents are weak like Poole are doing Wednesday!! (That may well come back to haunt me?! Hope not as all Poole Councillors are due to attend Wednesday.)

Buzz will drop to second string  just shows how strong this Poole 1-7 is. Aussie champ at reserve at a World Cup winner at second string Are you on the wind up or what Nick has had one decent away meeting Sedgmen i like but most of the year at home he has looked slow.Doyley has been beaten a few times at home and Rohan has really found the abbey hard work but overall he has done well this Poole side should win with the talent they have. course he is on a wind up. Thats what Shovlar does. Anything less than a Poole win will be a shock

SteveLyric2
Just to be clear Brady Kurtz will remain as a second string for a further 2 weeks from today as per the latest averages as will Bjarne P remain a reserve for the same period - possibly longer depending on all the scores between now and then!! hagonshocker
Yeah Doyley not been very convincing while averaging just a smidge under 10 points a meeting....
Steve Shovlar
Yeah Doyley not been very convincing while averaging just a smidge under 10 points a meeting....Yep. I would take that under performing any day of the week. Â Think this will be a tight one. All this nonsense of a ten point Poole win is just that. With a dry day the track should be good. And with both teams at full strength it should be a good honest meeting. Â Got a fair journey to get there. Travelling up from near Eastbourne later this afternoon.
A ORLOV
Weather ok, still overcast with light cloud, no rain. But there is a depression coming up from the south which will go back about 10pm

Reviresco
Going to this en route to IoW v Brummies tomorrow. Â First visit to The Abbey since 20 April 1985: Robins v Witches League Cup with the last race seen being Bo Petersen beating Billy Sanders for the Golden Helmet with the return scheduled for Foxhall on the following Thursday (25th,) but of course it never happened due to the events of 23 April 1985. Â Anyone know if you can view the Pits area when Sky are at Blunsdon, please and how you may access the Pits Viewing Area? Many Thanks.
