Steve Shovlar
After Swindon's thumping of Kings Lynn on Thursday all roads lead to Blunsdon for the ELB fixture on Monday night, live on Sky. Forecast seems ok with an overcast day. It's a must win meeting for both sides. Swindon, to keep up their hopes of beating Lakeside to the final playoff berth, and Poole, to keep up some pressure on league table toppers Belle Vue. Poole should be full strength. I am unsure if Swindon are using a guest for Charles Wright. Poole. Holder Ellis Buckowski Kurtz Andersen Pedersen Newman Should be a thriller with the Robins possibly just edging it with the impressive form of Doyle, Morris, Tungate and Josh G. But no more than 4 in it and at least a point to Poole. Edited August 19, 2016 by Steve Shovlar

dump that clutch
i have no doubt we will get turned over again by those pesky robbing Pirates. 43-47 for me.
Steve Shovlar
If we ride a well as we have as a team for the last few meetings we can win this. Andersen really got his act together in the last few meetings after his diabolical effort at Coventry. Bjarne is gating well at reserve. Ellis has found the move up into the team to his liking and taken some big scalps. The others have all done their jobs. Holder is quite vunerable at Blunsdon and struggles to pass around here. Needs to get out of the traps. Both teams at full strength. SWINDON M&S Van Rental Robins 1 Jason Doyle 9.68 2 Justin Sedgmen 5.79 3 Nick Morris 6.34 4 Rohan Tungate 5.71 5 Josh Grajczonek 6.25 6 Charles Wright 5.71 7 Stefan Nielsen 5.20 Team manager: Alun Rossiter POOLE Readypower Pirates 1 Chris Holder 7.87 2 Adam Ellis 6.69 3 Krzysztof Buczkowski 7.05 4 Brady Kurtz 6.16 5 Hans Andersen 7.71 6 Bjarne Pedersen 6.06 7 Kyle Newman 6.22 Team manager: Neil Middleditch Referee: Willie Dishington Edited August 20, 2016 by Steve Shovlar
Gavan
Swindon should win this but whether they will or not, is another matter! Poole by 10 points anything less i will be surprised. Poole have already won there this season with Ellis and Hans having poor nights. The only 2 areas where Swindon are stronger is Doyle over Holder and at Swindon Tungate over Ellis. You have world stars Buck, Kurtz, and Hans up against premier league heat leaders in Morris, Josh, and Sedgeman. At reserve Pedersen is up against a premier league second string in Wright. And a premier league second string in Newman will be up against a lower ranked rider. Swindon may get something if Doyle and Tungate outscore Holder and Ellis by say 8-10 points. But in all honesty should be another convincing win for the elite leagues strongest team and title favourites
DunRobin
Let's be honest, even Mystic Meg of Lotto fame would have difficulty predicting any Swindon result this season. You have to remember also how much luck favours Poole at the Abbey. Last season in the opening meeting, we lost 3 riders to injury against them, just pure bad luck! It is difficult to predict who will beat who as both teams have riders that have either gone well at the Abbey or have had a mare. At one meeting Hans has scored 12 at another 3, the same with Nick Morris. Edited August 20, 2016 by A ORLOV

He has to say all our riders are amazing compared to Swindon, so when we lose he can go on about how rubbish we are even though we are favourites blah blah blah..

I said Doyle is better than Holder and Tungate better than Ellis. Match the others up if you want. Morris v Buck - Buck is the better rider Josh v Kurtz - Kurtz is the better rider (just) Sedgman v Hans - Hans by some way Wright v Pedersen - Pedersen the better rider ? V Newman - should be Kyle So its not rocket science to say Poole are favourites., and as i said if Doyle or Tungate score heavily and one of the others rides above himself then Swindon could nick it. Poole are favourites to win this match
