Plymouth Vs Rye House 19/08/2016 @ 1915

With Ed's admission that he wants to do some longtrack rides next year i can't see a weekend track being very suitable anyway. Could easily see him at Ipswich in the PL next season along with lakeside. If anything i suspect the doubling up rules will be relaxed to allow Nicholls, Harris etc to do both British tiers.....

We can all hazard guesses as to why Kennet was not there. ..I am as unimpressed as any one about it..But i recon we will never know the actual reason why he was not there,..Outright condemnation really has to be proved ?? ....

I agree... Move on. Season is a dead duck anyway. If/when we're out of the KOC on Monday there's really nothing else to play for apart from avoiding the wooden spoon.

To be fair the quality Guest wasn't there, had we had say Danny King and he scored a dozen points nobody would be questioning why Edward wasn't at Plymouth.

The other thing is would it not be morally wrong to have engaged Douglas then to cancel him when he would have either been on the road or preparing to go. I know i would have had the hump easy to knock Douglas but its hardly his fault. What sort of message would that send to a future guest replacing Kennett in similar circumstance e.g. Sheffield on the 1st. I thing the Promotion may well have been getting a fair few refusals. Kennett has been a decent rider for Rye but like most riders who double up they save their best for the EL much in the same way as the GP riders who are disappointing in the EL and suddenly improve when they are in Sweden and Poland, sadly all down to money

Somebodies season will end next Monday, but the semi final isn't over I promise.

I'm a natural pessimist, but I really can't see us pulling back 16 points. 10 points would've been tough enough Edited by Shads
