Swindon's New Stadium

Recommended Posts

Thanks everyone. It was a tongue in cheek comment i have to admit.

I realise that it's easy being wise after the event but i was amazed at the time how so many people seemed to accept that the building of the new stadium was just a formality after the track record (excuse the pun) that speedway has with stadiums.

I was going to ask if they were going to have another 'farewell meeting' but maybe i won't.

You may like the post starman but remember the people doing Swindon are the same as those looking to redevelop Poole.

Yes i know that. But all they are looking to do at Poole is redevelop the grandstands and nothing else. The track will stay the same, Bit of a difference..

Yeah some should be careful about displaying there pleasure at the possible demise of a track and club, could very well come back and bite them on the arse

Where is the news or comment on this for the past few months. It just seems to have disappeared.

In the news and discussion section, in fact I have just posted info about reports posted from Swindon Council Planning dept in the last couple of days.

It may be a good idea to shift all discussion about the stadium to there.
