waco
While not the strongest team in the league ,I.O.W home track advantage could be the telling factor ,, All though from what i have seen i would expect Locke to be more effective on a big track,,good luck to all the lads tonight.. iand
I believe Matt Saul was released by IOW so hopefully he will be looking to score a pt or 2. Presume the top 3 will get around the 32 mark between them and hope the others can chip in to make it interesting.
Sings4Speedway
From early showings the addition of Stoneman & Cuppit make IOW a much different animal. Even if the Rye House dominate as expected i think the lower order will prove costly once again.
Halifaxtiger
A much easier wim for the Warriors than might have been expected, with a strangely subdued Morley and the bottom end failing to contribute for the Raiders. Stoneman and to a lesser extent Cupitt will make a major difference and credit to IOW for picking them up Best sight of all was a pretty decent attendance, with the first bend grass bank somewhat full. The promotion have been very determined with their efforts to attract paying customers and that seems to be paying off.

Having watched IOW in action at Belle Vue on Wednesday night, I was pretty impressed with their performance. Stoneman and Cupitt proved themselves to be very, very promising and as always, if you have reserves who can chip in a decent haul of points then you are at least in with half a chance. Watching the IOW boys in the pits, they seemed to have some pretty good team spirit and they certainly made the home town heroes earn their money. Weather permitting, I shall go and watch the Warriors again on Sunday at Buxton and the Hitmen will have their work cut out to fend off the Southern invaders!
cityrebel
There was some decent racing last night, despite the scoreline. The warriors have certainly hit the jackpot with their new reserve pairing.
Shadders
Disappointed with the result, but pleased to read of the decent attendance. Last time I was there for an October PL meeting there were no more than 150 playing spectators

The warriors have certainly hit the jackpot with their new reserve pairing. About time Layne lived up to his early potential. Need to make strides at getting these signed up for next season early and perhaps not let their averages get to high? Think some other teams will be sniffing around Stoneman based on the early performances.
Brummiestormer
Looking forward to our visit next week now---last time we went in the PL the racing was very one line--hopefully be better in the NL
cityrebel
You can pass on the island if you are prepared to take the high wide line. The home riders pulled off some great overtakes last night using that method. It's not for the faint hearted though!

It's not for the faint hearted though!Baseby showing some Jens Rasmussen moves (@rye house) even when he wasn't under pressure to. My 2yr old loved the drum man (stu), a big thank you to him for giving the kids some much needed distraction at times Supporters speedway at its best. Also a massive shout out to the family on holiday from Sheffield, they had a blast and I believe will become regular speedway supporters. All round good speedway from the riders, a different IOW when their not under pressure to score, start to enjoy their riding and become entertaining Edited August 20, 2016 by dovetoe
