i have a very strong opinion of such cases as a mate back in the UK nearly got done for rape after he slept with a girl who was merely tipsy and tried it on with him

All night before he gave in and went with her. She dropped the charges days before the trial and said she made it all up .

Result? The boy got battered numerous times, parents house vandalised, etc. what happened to the girl? Nothing. Still goes out every weekend and acts like nothing happened.

And having followed this case closely, i have no doubt Evans is innocent regarding rape.

How many convictions get quashed and retrialed and the new outcome is the same?

What did you hear in court that made you think he was innocent and 12 jury members think he was guilty?

PS The cps think they will get another conviction that's why there is a retrial

and as I previously stated, at the moment he is presumed to be innocent, if he did it he is guilty now, only the verdict in court will decide innocence
