Fromafar
Track covers are not a miracle cure-all. When there is rain on the day of a meeting, but forecast to clear by evening, they work -- two meetings have been staged this season which would not otherwise have gone ahead. 100% success rate. Yesterday's meeting faced a terrible forecast for the afternoon and evening, plus a football match, and was not a situation for covers to be deployed. Is that not what I am saying!! allthegearbutnaeidea
Leon Flint British 250cc Champion (and he's one of our own)
To The Point
One Berwick rider who was racing last night was Leon Flint, he was racing in Round 7 of the 250cc Youth Championships at Eastbourne, where he won to extend his lead at the top of the current standings. One Berwick rider who is going places Correct a rider from Berwick, not a Berwick asset, This lad is going to be too good for Berwick Bandits

topsoil
If Berwick have any sense, if the club is still running by this time, they will sign Leon as soon as is legally possible. Whether he goes on to ride for Berwick or goes on to bigger and better things who knows (it would be wrong to burden the young lad with expectations already) the club would be foolish t let the opportunity pass by. allthegearbutnaeidea
But if we sign him as an asset we can then get loam fees or even money for a full transfer which would keep the club going.

allthegearbutnaeidea
I've got something we could all discuss, what the f*** is going on behind closed doors at our club?!?! Oh wait it's the same as what's been happening since the two of them took over, they don't listen.

If I were his manager, Berwick would be out of the equation, could spoil his potential ( big guy in a small town situation). Needs a club that will nurture his potential, certainly a club like Poole or Kings Lynn. You are right to say Berwick should approach him, but in my humble opinion that would have the potential to stifle his talent.

While we are on the subject of assets, How many assets do Berwick actually have?

Quite a few that are paper assets like Josef Franc etc. Current riders, Bellego, Garcia ,Alden, Carr, struggling now.

Normski
Think we have more to worry about at the moment than assets. However looking at that list would be happy to have Bellego, a fully fit Seb, Liam and Daniel in fingers crossed our 2017 team.
