StevePark
Well you are entitled to your opinion, however I do check the website most days & what I replied is what I find, and I have both seen people post their views on this forum & spoke to others and they say similar! even if all updates are going to take time you should have the home page updated straight or as soon after the match as possible. It is my belief if Newcastle as a club don't advise the website team or are happy with the way it is then so be it, however the former it has been said by the website team that this can & has happened in the past. The last nine match reports have all been put onto the website on the night the match occurred. I could go back further if you want.
Boothers
Dunno if Rose is that much cop at Redcar, can't remember any decent scores Lewis Rose has only ridden Redcar twice. 8 rides for 9 (paid 12) including a heat win.
NJC71
Should be a good match. We drew there in the League Cup match with Richie at number 1 having a poor night and poor scores from reserve despite plenty of effort from Garcia. Hopefully we'll be better in that respect tonight with Lambert and Rose in the side. Redcar had Branford as a guest that night so might not be as strong at reserve but they have improved considerably in the top 5 with Busch in for Buckhave and Bjerre back in form. Much will depend on Lambert and Rose. Both need to have good nights to back up Worrall, Kus and Robson. Think Redcar might edge it but we must pick up at least a point. That maybe however one that does spring to mind was when we were at Sheffield on the Thursday & then rye house on Saturday then home to Plymouth in the space of four days & that week, things were only updated before the Plymouth match then that one was done on the Monday! No we weren't. We were at Sheffield on 9 June, at Rye House on the 11th and we didn't meet Plymouth at home until 3 July! The Sunday match on the 12th was against Workington, which was called off. The report for the Sheffield match was put on the website at 21.46 that night and the Rye House report was put on the site at 01.20 on the Sunday morning. The postponement was put on the site at 12.05 on that day. Anyway, this has sod all to do with the thread. Hoping for some away points in the push for the play-offs and a decent speedway meeting on a good track. We are definitely a different prospect now than earlier in the season, and our top 5 have been in good form at home. Mush will depend on Etheridge and Payne at reserve - I'd expect Rose to have the edge on those but they should have the beating of Phillips. Lambert in strengthens Newcastle compared to last home meeting so should be close. Looking forward to it - hopefully a good meeting.

diamond@heart
For a change in this neck of the woods (on a Thursday!) there are no problems with the weather! Just so as you know......... Thanks and I'm shocked that this information has not been posted on the Diamonds website!!!! :P Looking for a good performance from the Diamonds tonight against a changed and rejuvenated Bears team. Hopefully this will be a good meeting and not decided in the 1st bend.
boz
Well Lewis Rose certainly was the trump card tonight - paid 16 from him compared to paid 6 from both our reserves shows where the meeting was won and lost. A bit of an off night for a couple of the Bears top 5 puts the pressure on the reserves to score and at the moment that is just not happening. Probably Tobias best meeting for us, and his pass of Kus in heat 7 was superb - once Kus gets out in front here not many people get past him. Thought the referee was very, very kind to us however. In my opinion (and from only what I could see, so maybe not correct) I thought he got all 3 big calls wrong. Heat 7, I thought Robbo was very unlucky to be excluded. Either all 4 back, or maybe Kus out at a push. Then I thought to exclude Kus was very harsh. He was in front, and from my view Bjerre tried to go round outside for a gap that was not really there. Heat 15 - and I thought again to exclude Worrall was very harsh - Busch went wide to go round and whilst Worrall was hard again he was in front and had the line. Would be interesting to hear other peoples viewpoints as like I say, t hat was just from my vantage point. Based on that, justice probably prevailed with a Newcastle win. Looking back, the heat two 5-1 looks very costly. With the best will in thew world, Phillips is struggling to buy points in the Premier League so disappointing to lose a 5-1 there. Very decent crowd though tonight - swelled by a good number of travelling fans.
acclennell
Good win although looks like we nearly almost threw it away. Think that just about will cement our place in the playoffs now, with a few home games in hand and still some winnable points away from home. Thought robbo worrall and kus had to go although busch turned into steve and practically admitted it but the ref wouldnt see that from his box... We made hard work of it but a decent meeting. Btw Etheridge doing a lap of honour after winning a 2 man race with his partner
boz
Interesting to hear it from another viewpoint! Thought the Worrall tapes one was cut and dried - jumped the first start and was warned and did exactly the same again! On that showing, Newcastle still have more to come and will be a threat in the playoffs. For us, I would be getting Busch signature for next year sorted now!
NJC71
Not lots of passing but still a very good meeting with close racing. Diamonds should have won more comfortably but threw a number of points away which very nearly proved costly. My view on the refereeing decisions: Worrall had to go in heat 6. He clearly moved twice and having been warned the ref made the correct decision. Robson just seemed to run out of room. I don't think anybody touched him so again I think the correct call. The race though should not have been stopped as Robson was up and they weren't even exiting bend 4. In the re-run Kus made a hard move under Bjerre. Looked like he took Bjerre's front wheel away so again looked the correct call although I was standing closer to bend 1 so some distance away. Worrall's move under Busch in heat 15 looked silly to me. Lambert was in front so why take the risk? Again I didn't have the best viewing point but when Busch went down I immediately expected Worrall to be excluded. Busch was excellent for the Bears and Bjerre rode well - I expected to see him in heat 15 having won heat 13 against the same two riders. They always looked vulnerable at reserve though and so it proved although the 5-1 in heat 2 was a blow. For the Diamonds Lambert rode well and I thought that was a great ride in heat 15. He didn't want to get too close to Bellego and risk taking him down but had Busch all over him on the inside. Very mature ride. Worrall looked very quick but like I say made an error of judgement in heat 15 to go with the exclusion. Man of the match though was Lewis Rose who was absolutely superb. Take a bow. Good win and a very good night. ..

pvm
During last night's meeting there was a query over who was allowed to take the R/R for Palovaara. The programme had Stuart Robson as the rider with the next highest Ave above Palovaara, yet it was Kus who took the R/R ride. Can anybody clear thing's up?

Keith McGhee explained over the P.A what had happened (Keith M above being correct). Not the first time this has happened at Redcar! In regards to Bjerre, I believe he was asked if he wanted to do heat 15 and he declined.
