arnieg
Oh well - it hadn't been amended when I saw it and the rules change each day!! Definitely odd since the site says he has ridden 18 matches as at last weekend - 8H / 10A!! Simple explanation: Edinburgh site includes two matches (Rye House & Peterborough) that took place after the cut off date (1 August) for the current green sheets. All being well the next green sheets should show young Dan over 3.
TheScotsman
But surely he only needed to do 4H & 4A to get a real average? He would have done 7H & 9A at 1st August.

His next GSA will include matches to 20 August and apply from 1 Sept.

Dan Bewley completed this by May, so why should he still be designated as having an assessed average on the latest Green Sheet, 3 months later?

A rider retains an assessed average if he fails to meet the minimum 3.00 average, is that the situation here?
cyclone
A rider retains an assessed average if he fails to meet the minimum 3.00 average, is that the situation here? Wajknecht, Phillips & Perks are all listed in the latest Green Sheet as 3.00 but are not footnoted (i.e. *) as having an assessed MA, whereas Bewley & Josh Bailey are. Although I have not seen details of actual rolling average per period, I'd guess Bewley was already slightly over 3.00 at the last accounting cut-off date. I'd also be surprised if messrs Wajknecht, Phillips & Perks actual rolling averages were exactly 3.00 as published. Yes - his average at 20 July was still below 3.00 (his highest score was just six), but since then he's scored 11 at home to Sheffield and 10 at Peterborough (not to mention nine guesting for Glasgow which of course won't count in his average). For the three riders you mentioned, did they go above 3.00 at any time?
TheScotsman
Can't imagine Phillips ever did.
cyclone
For the three riders you mentioned, did they go above 3.00 at any time? Just looked at Wajknecht's results and his scores without bp, in PL/Prem Trophy, on a rolling average basis, appear to have never reached 3.00. Perhaps Statman can confirm this is correct? Statman
Correct. Think he is also currently around 2.50 but Statman will know the exact figure Im sure. Up until his injury Zach had ridden 12 (7 home, 5 away) matches which count towards his CMA with an actual figure of 2.63 (without bonus points)
yoda
How can he drop to a 3 if assessed riders can't drop below their starting figure? unless you ride for Scunthorpe ?
Gr8scot
Still stuck at home and gutted not to be at OTA tonight (or Sheffield tomorrow) Safe meeting for all. oldtimer
Me and Tony were going to make a rare visit tonight until saw weather forecast, it will now probably stay dry. IDH may get down to see you before end of season if no guests. Edited August 17, 2016 by oldtimer

oldtimer
Sorry, what's wrong with the forecast? Heavy rain showers with isolated thunder storms from 7pm, but forecast has been wrong before and hope it is for those attending, showers will probably miss Highbridge.
