Another Week Without Elite League Speedway On Sky!

Recommended Posts

next sky fixtures out and its poole , poole and poole, 3 out of the next 4 = joke

the sky pirates are back

then the next week will be the playoffs - with yes poole again

Add 2, probably 4 play off matches to that.

  • 2 weeks later...

Why no Elite League meeting this week then? What excuse from Sky? Poor advanced weather forecast, live broadcast from the pro-am football golf, ah! New something would be on instead that's more exciting!!

You would think that Sky would treat such a professionally ran and organised sport, one that puts integrity at the heart of everything it does, with a much higher degree of respect wouldn't you?

Now, when's the Kabaddi on?😀

I was thinking why they didn't want to show tonights match but instead are showing King's Lynn away to Poole.Maybe they just want to show a Poole win :P

Away to Wolves there is a possibilty that Poole won't win,Sky wouldn't want that would they :o

Or maybe the real reason is with the possibility that Wolves and Poole could meet in the semis they don't want to show the same teams 3 times in the space of a few weeks.

I bet it gets pulled from schedule..

(In best interests of the sport)

Apparently it's on the new Sky Sports Mix channel which according to the ads is free. Not going to entice many newbies to go live is it

Having said that the racing could be OK, I'm of the opinion that you don't need the GP stars to make decent racing just riders that are relatively of the same standard so who knows. It could be brilliant :D

Whats your insight into why Sky are showing Belle Vue v Poole next Monday then?!

SKY Website is stating Lakeside vs Swindon next week - which is surprising news to all Lakeside fans!!!!

And Swindon fans and possibly management, the change of date is not even on the website yet, but glad they are showing it even though the racing is usually not very good there.

What a crock. Belle Vue v Poole would be one of the meetings of the season.

The silly thing is, one of Belle Vue's gold leaf fixtures is being played out on a Monday evening in September, in front of probably a small crowd, when it should have been in mid summer on a Friday night.

Bad business that.
