Reviresco
Just love the banter with The Scotsman. Great stuff guys. As a "Massif" member (sounds a bit rude, lol), I would love to be there and am looking at flying up on the day, as I will be at Hoddesdon this evening watching the Rockets "soften up" the Tigers to assist the Witches attempt to take points away from the Peugeot Ashfield. Maybe catch up with Paulco and co at Rye House later on today if you are attending (and I promise not to try and give you a lift back to your accommodation after the meeting this time, lol). I enjoyed saying hi to you folks at Ipswich in June.
george.m
Only BIG clubs own their stadium.

george.m
Trophies maketh clubs. Looking for a HUGE score from Benjamin tomorrow. Oh aye. Wembley Lions have huge crowds these days. Glory hunters don't make clubs. Real fans do though.
TheScotsman
Watched every home match at Wembley in 1970 & 1971 after the licence was transferred from Coatbridge. Having watched every home match at Coatbridge. Changed jobs at the end of 1969 to move down south to still be able to follow the remaining monarchs who transferred. So hardly a glory hunter.

Admirable no doubt. But frequent mention of trophies and that being the true mark of a team leaves you open to observers making that assumption. Gazc
Anyway with Cyclone hijacking another Glasgow thread with his bile on Glasgow let's get back to today really looking forward to this one as King & Barker will provide a stern test for our boy's with Covatti pretty handy the last time he was up. Throw in James and it is a potential banana skin. Still think we will win this but i think Ipswich will get a point as they are looking a really good outfit now after a sluggish start. New era Panthers
Give generously is not the same as thieving. I am happy to donate to our cause. If the housing developments do actually happen, you're gonna miss us when we're gone. (As Anna once sang - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g1yZm9bUoQ8) I would love to revisit Edinburgh speedway when they find a stadium suitable for people being able to view , in the meantime I'd rather give it a miss, but do hope they can find a location in the very near future as nobody likes to see clubs going to the wall.
Baldyman
Oh well, thanks for giving it a go ipswich. Let's try and start with a team next year that could make the play offs

Siggytastic
Is now the time to start making sure the averages are right so we can start next year with a team very similar to the current?
Weeyin
Was closer than the result suggested, well done to the tiggers for fighting for every point
Baldyman
We should be trying to keep barkers average down for starters. Maybe one change needed for next year. Edited August 14, 2016 by baldyman
Icicle
The best now is hopefully we can win at least 1 of the few remaining away matches.

MD
Just like last year Ipswich were hard visitors to overcome. Covatti was excellent to watch with Barker and King pretty decent. Cant work out why they put King off gate 1 in ht15, gave him no chance. Ten points from the weekend is superb, time for a rest with Somerset up next week.
Gazc
Alway's knew this would be a tough match and so it proved Ipswich keeping us honest throughout but never close enough to threaten the points. We were solid again and take another bow Nike Lunna heat 14 was just an amazing ride to reel Risager in and make the outside swoop on the final bend his away performances are now replicating his home ones the boy is a real racer but is far more composed now in his timing on when to make the move. Another 3 points bagged with the Rebels up next week should be another cracker but the way we are riding now i fancy another home win next week and see were it takes us.

Hopefully a shorter break at ht10 with nigh on 20 minutes of tractor grading today which lost the momentum of the meeting.
