Anyone got details on why Rob Shuttleworth thrown out of the meeting today?

Ellis Perks rode straight into shuttleworth on bend 2. Both riders down, as perks is on the ground shuttle worth starts on him by pulling his arm as if to make him get up. Then both punching and kicking each other before its broke up.

Also it seemed a rider went into the crowd after something was said to Perks.

Well done Raiders, much deserved. I agree with the comments about the ref. Some of his decisions were shocking.

Ref is a joke

End of.

Robbed.

Well done rye house though.

So hauling a rider to their feet and punching them is not worthy of exclusion from the meeting?

Suggest you restrain yourself on commenting on meetings you actually attend, because no-one in attendance would complain about Shuttleworth's exclusion.

Well done Rye House - deserving winners today.

All the best

Rob

I'm interested to know which ones as I can't recall any really bad decisions? Anyway, I enjoyed this and there seemed to be a decent crowd, with the meeting flowing well until the final when it seemed to get more intense. Well done to Rye House but they were probably a bit lucky in the end as Belle Vue had no rider in heat 6 and Eastbourne's Adam Ellis had engine failure at the start of the final race after previously being unbeaten all afternoon. I understand they ran out of programmes and that's a shame, especially as I probably contributed to that by buying one for a change. Now that's how to do it ~ reasonably priced at £2. Thank you.

The dogs enjoyed it and were overcome with excitement. :P

I believe Ben was also unbeaten on the day.

Yes, you're right. Would have been an interesting final race then as they hadn't met each other.

Woods taking out Payne clearly bend 2

No he didn't. Payne tried it on after sliding off, and stayed down to try to get a re-run, but it didn't work.

Try to be just slightly objective about the meeting.

The major questionable decision in the final was Luke Chessell being allowed back into Heat 2, after accidentally collecting Adam Ellis. But it didn't make a lot of difference, since LC eventually fell in the second re-run.

Heat 1 was spot on. Perks was cause of stoppage; while Shuttleworth was massively out of order.

All the best

Rob
