What Race Jacket Is This And Year?

Recommended Posts

Hi Gresham, I am not saying it's a nide one, but I like to know the meeting and the rider. The only thing that you could readily say about this jacket is the two number fives on the back. As you never see the back of race jackets usually it's a chance in a lifetime of knowing whose this was.

I may be wrong.. I, as a speedway fan, am sometimes!

Agreed...I thought the back of the jacket, would go a long way to identifying the year etc. Hoping from that it may have been possible to work out which rider wore it.

I thought Anders Michanek, but that was a guess. It' a lot of money to pay, whatever it was, unless you know something we don't. I mean, it is nice to buy a jacket and know whose it was, if you need to let it go at a later date and pass the info on. Although we know in this case it's a Swedish bib, it is a bit like having shale from a track and thinking it's from the old Hyde Road but it's from someone's back yard. It's nice to have a pic, not of the shale, of the bib and the rider with it on... but who is that rider, that's the issue.

Just to confirm the idiots we really do have trolling this forum...the fact I actually mention 'Sweden?' in my OP apparently means 'clarified by the OP not having a clue who the team even is upon seeing the jacket'...you can't make it up how stupid some people are.

Then it goes into a rant about how I find it easier to distinguish riders in traditional simple designed race jackets over race suits and how that is an 'utterly a stupid idea'.

An idea that has existed pretty much since the advent of Speedway. Rolls eyes at the idiot behind the keyboard.

As for my list showing who I have blocked...it's there so that you know I don't want to get into conversation with you...is it that hard to understand?

I don't want to talk to you...I don't respect you or your opinions, as you probably don't mine...so what's the point.

Seems some people just like to troll and keep it going and bringing up old conversations.

Any time you are down in Somerset for a meeting, pm me...would love to meet you all ;-)

An amicable thread proceeding along quite nicely until this character resurfaces again with his hypocritical abusive bile.

The argument was never distinguishing riders, the argument was distinguishing teams.. quite a difference.

Your post really does speak for itself, a forum isn't a good place for you.

Incidentally, when you have someone on ignore, you don't see their posts unless they are quoted.. My post has not been quoted on this thread yet here you are commenting on it..

So your signature is not only abusive, it's simply attention seeking isn't it?

Totally against the rules of a civilised forum which this is.

Anyway, back to the thread.

Sweden ? Suggests not actually knowing to me, the question mark is key it implies a question thus a lack of knowledge, stupidity even, if that doesn’t then the constant swearing and now utterly hysterical threats like “come see me at Somerset” (presumably hanging around the pits getting pictures on bikes or collecting autographs, cute).

None of this matters though as this post is only visible to people who haven’t placed it on the block list and thus feeling the need to address it, or any posts made by me just seems slightly bizarre behaviour (again).

But anyway, again, team suits have massively improved the appearance of the sport.

That is only an opinion - it is not a fact.

Glad we agree - on that at least.

Indeed, it's a subject open to debate WK.

I, as I have stated, preferred individual leathers as I loved my favourite riders standing out etc.. as did many speedway fans.

However, I also see the view that having team leathers, for a 'team' event does make the sport look more professional.

It's something that can be discussed civilly without having to resort to the absolutely ridiculous posts such as the one you have seen above from Gresham, which has no place on any forum.

Completely WRONG as usual...Number 1 C*NT of the forum. I suggest you go F*ck yourself.

Number 2 Cu*T of the forum...again presuming and completely WRONG as usual.

Both wishing to comment with a bloke who doesn't want to speak with them. ...but will tell the forum how naughty I am...C*nts...pair of em. Waste of time losers....must be sad and lonely stinking of piss and being that fat haha...the things you find out....Love it. PMSL

Bless.

Do you feel better now?
