Wackie
Swedish team jacket early/mid 70's. Edit: may have been pre-70's too, just remember pictures of Anders Michenek wearing that one when he won the world title. Gresham
Cheers for that...Was there ever a Swedish touring team or test match at Ellesmere Port in the 60/70's?
Wackie
Getingarna came over and rode some challenge meetings in the 70's and 80's.
Gresham
Nice pic of Tommy Jansson wearing one 1974? https://scontent.cdninstagram.com/t51.2885-15/e15/13266754_247859742238765_598994954_n.jpg?ig_cache_key=MTI1NTYxMzc4NTI4Nzg3MDk5Mw%3D%3D.2
Wackie
Maybe not '74 or '73. The colours in the national race jacket were inverted those years by the looks of it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vULFVIrvTc0 Video is great! Almost like a Pathe news reel.
steve roberts
Have a feeling that it may be 1975.

It is great...watched that earlier whilst researching. Here is a great video of Tommy Jannson wearing these colours in 1975 as Steve has just implied. Seems they wore both colours that year as well. Perhaps they did change during each year? The back of the race jacket is different though. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AeBDe8kCa_M
sparkafag
When you see a race jacket like that it really hits home why team suits were introduced, clarified by the OP not having a clue who the team even is upon seeing the jacket I doubt many will have to ask who team suits belong to in 10/15/20 years time as they are so easily identifiable.

Yes, but it's the rider who wore them we'd still seek.... we can identify race bibs easier than team suits, surely? Hardly, race jackets are still quite easy identify. The one shown in the OP is before my time, but I still recognise it. They wear race jackets in SGP/SWC/SEC etc. too, so still have a place within speedway.
Ghostwalker
The three crowns is an old Swedish national symbol. It is still in use by the King in his coat of arms. Also usef by the National ice hockey teams as well as the air force and various authorities. So these have to be national team race jackets (or väst as we say in Sweden) .

However, Gresham was trying to claim that it was easier to identify TEAMS from the terraces from race jackets alone, rather than team suits... so when a rider is flying down the back straight, you are on the home straight, putting helmet colors aside, he claimed it was easier to see the race bib than suits. Obviously that was utterly ridiculous. Unable to accept that, as per norm he had a hissy fit, made a massive post about people respecting opinions (without realising the irony of what he was saying) and stuck folk on ignore. He's since repeated said childish action numerous times since regarding other equally ridiculous topics. Now to top it all off he thinks it's some sort of badge of honour to proudly display who he has ignored (basically who corrected him on his nonsense) as can be seen from his signature. Personally I find it amusing and it simply clarifies that type of character he is.. there's only one other person I've seen who used to proudly announce those on his ignore list and that was/is Gustix.

Sweden? https://postimg.org/image/xmo5471hn/ https://postimg.org/image/o82gb2c6z/ If you want a proper answer (better then mine at least ) and use twitter, ask a speedway enthusiast named Stephen Zetterwall. He knows practically everything about Speedway in general and Swedish speedway in particular. He is also a member on this forum (Zetters) but I don't think he visit the forum particular often. It was in reference to the 'Royal Crown of Sweden' and made a change from the usual national flag.
