barraider
Bellego and Berge lived the dream to wear the stripes then left, why it keeps getting brought up is beyond me, now poor J Etheridge who was brought all the way over from Oz, now that's how you look after a rider, heat 13 too close to call last night but Branford turning right as Lunna was going by him in heat two, that wasn't difficult to see, I've never seen Lunna so angry after a race, the kids normally always smiling and having fun, to win last night with Summers and Worrall having poor nights was very pleasing. hackneyrocket
Branford did not turn right, he pushed him away with his elbowBranford had the line and didn't use his elbow.Luna was slightly behind, as Branford went right, his back wheel caught Luna. I suppose you believe Summers beat Robbo even though the ref gave the decision the wrong way,Robbo clearly beat him to the line. That's speedway.
waco
Rockets were fairly solid right through but unlike Glasgow no one stood out,,Great ride from Richard Lawson in heat 15 and good all night ,,,,and the reserves Lunna and Bewley were just sensational...There was some great racing on a track that is still crying out for more dirt to help the likes of Robson and Lykke and we need to do something to avoid these narrow defeats,,But no one could complain about the quality of the racing and its the new track shape thats providing it...

I thought we were second best against the Rebels, but last night we let a 6 point lead slip away. Somerset look a better bet for the title than Glasgow on last nights evidence, but you never know with play offs

stevemill
Went last night after not being up to Rye for last couple of months. Bit shocked to see the state of the place , nothing has changed for the better and what if anything have they done there in the last 2 months . The junior track inside the main track , why cut the shape out then leave it to weed over , looks a right mess . Had hopes for some good things regarding changes at Rye this year but they are now fading very fast , has the money needed run out ? Also regarding the team , definite bottom 3 the way things are going and where most teams at least try to change things we just stick with what we've got , even Brandford's deserved inclusion was down to Karger injury . If they were serious about things wouldn't they at least try something to make this very weak team stronger . Also regarding last night's match , surely in heat 12 Brandford should have replaced Morley who up to that point had been very poor , think Sampford would have done this , Shroek seems to nice to be a manager with no ruthless streak that you need . Oh well rant over for at least a couple of weeks.

Somerset look a better bet for the title than Glasgow on last nights evidence, but you never know with play offs Somerset so far have been the best team this season but this can change very quickly as we all know, thing for us we had two off our most consistent performers this season having poor nights by there high standards last night but still managed the win that is alway's the sign off a good team when they can manage to do this when some are having poor nights. Â As you rightly point out you never know and i would fancy us over two legs against anyone with our full 1-7 but that is the key having the full team. The Rockets scraped into the play offs due to Birmingham not being able to complete their fixtures before the cut off (in fact Rye House finished in 5th place once all league fixtures were completed). We then breezed past IOW in the semis and totally demolished Sheffield, surprise conquerors of red hot favourites Kings Lynn in the other semi, to win the trophy. Gazc
So have you asked Berge what happened and how a picture of his belongings lying on the street outside his lodgings appeared on Facebook?  Or were you too busy brown nosing up to Jack & Victor Soprano?  Oh wait Can i ask serious question why do you continually bring this subject up because as far as i can see this does not affect you as an Edinburgh fan but you & Blobby continually refer back to this.  So no i haven't asked Berge as why do i need to the decision was made by the the people RUNNING OUR CLUB to replace him.  Bit highlighted really sums you up you know nothing about me but you still have your wee snide dig at our owners.  So I will ask you again do you have the FACTS from both sides as i don't that is why i don't continually bring it up so i am assuming you do as a concerned speedway fan  OH WAIT. Love them or hate them the play offs certainly throw up drama, weekend was alway's going to define our season regards the play offs and we have nearly come through it with the points required in the bag I really do think t will take a really good team to beat us over two legs.  On current form Somerset may well be that team but we will just have to wait & see. Note you're not denying it eh  Still time to concoct your usual fiction about the reigning PL champs I will leave George to reply to this but why does he need to deny or confirm anything especially to you it would be a waste off his bandwidth replying to that. Nah because unlike you it doesn't really matter to me but here is one for you as you are the one that continually brings this up on a public forum the next time you are at Ashfield why don't you ask Gerry or Michael there version and not the Soprano's as you frequently describe them. Â And while you are at it ask them are they ok with you & Blobby continually spouting about Glasgow business on a public forum and alleging that they are something they are not with the Soprano slur. Â Seems a reasonable suggestion to me , do you not think so.
george.m
Note you're not denying it eh  Still time to concoct your usual fiction about the reigning PL champs Not denying it doesn't mean I'm a reliable source to use to back up your claims. As for Edinburgh, what I'm eluding to is reported by newspapers and on Internet. But as you say Edinburgh annual accounts are not available to the public when they are then you are not a credible source.  Clearly you either want to dis the Glasgow promoters or have some sort of personal grudge. You keep posting this in the forum but don't have the balls to go full on with it. You are clearly wanting others to take the bait and do your dirty work for you.  There are few new Edinburgh or Glasgow supporters on here so as we've all read it before and not taken the bait why do you persist?  Scared of breaking forum rules or is it the threat of legal action from those you accuse? And we know how your little botty capitulates to the legal threat don't we. Snapper shut you up good and proper!
