Shadders
Certainly none in the car park, maybe he had speed boat awaiting? He's notoriously tight fisted, so he probably hitched a lift in Dr Who's Tardis Hope you had an enjoyable weekend Edited August 14, 2016 by Shads
Arson fire
He used to commute from Estonia everyday a few years back... So Berwick to Peterborough is chicken feed
Fromafar
Agreed, if you can have a #1 that can score 8-9 points every meetings that's all well and good, but if you can have a reserve doing the same if not a bit more, then that does have more benefit. If you can have both, that helps even more!Reserve performances go a long way towards winning the League. Its ok to say they have done their job if they beat their fellow reserves but in reality it's the other riders they beat that seals victories.1 good reserve is a must IMO
StevePark
First of all - Don't feed the Troll. Lukas
Well I for one am shocked by this result..who knew that Busk would finally turn up and Ash Morris would put in such a sensational performance.. He has been superb for us and should be signed up for next season..also an improved performance from Perry and as usual superb by Cook..well done lads.
Panthers89
All the lads done well, Perry looked a lot better hopefully a sign of things to come. Only rider yesterday who had a shocker was Holub, confidence looks absolutely shot to pieces.
bigeddiechek
On the 3rd bend we had the perfect vide of Cook's move in heat 13.Almost no space to work with, threw his back wheen against the fence and took off. It's the most sensational move I think I have ever seen. It was an incredible dull meeting up to that point. So, one needs to give Cook the credit he deserves. He was worth the admission alone. No booing on the 3rd bend, lots of applause and recognition for what was a superb bit of speedway. Got to show appreciation for Doolan in heat 15 too.Great ride to beat a rider who looked unbeatable, and kept the score a bit more respectable.
Tardis
Re big hitting number 1 you don't need one if you have a good team with strength in depth look at Berwicks best finish in the PL did we have a number 1 no but we did have 7 riders who on their night were capable of beating anyone and often did also I think we may have had some of the highest ave reserves in PL. That was an interesting interview with PW and most of what he says is true, lets face it his tracks were not perfect butit gave us a home advantage a lot of teams were beaten before a wheel turned. To heck with fair tracks we NEED a track that suits our riders but will we get I don't think so

I'd like to think we will keep Dany, Kev, TJ and Liam for next year with possibly one of Theo and Matty and maybe bring Seb back but I think the track and the business aspect needs to change more than the riders.

Peter makes some very valid points but time and Berwick Speedway has moved on, what I do think is that if the current promotion are going to be here long term then there are issues that need looked at, updated and revamped, maybe a change in thinking and direction if needed. David Johnston1
good to see you have your pilots licence . seeing that you dont drive . how did you manage to land on the E.O.E.S. landing strip with no runway lights . i need to look up the travelling time, distance for the route from berwick to p/borough on the sat nav and see what time the resturant opens in berwick . i will get back to you . must have cost a grand to hire that plane/helicopter/f1 car . . next thing you tell us your car is a ex mike j fox that was in a film . Some strange decision's last night (Jakobsen locked up in front of Pijper causing him to take evasive action, Jakobsen reered at the gate not falling off and getting a re-run, Morris getting the best flyer of the season etc). Thought Peterborough were worth the win (left when Danny crashed as on night-shift). Some around me were saying about moving riders around (looked at the 5 progs I can see from the 7 meeting's I've attended and we haven't swapped riders around in the meeting's). Was some of the Berwick rider's out after the meeting checking set-ups etc for next week?
