Daniel Smith
Fully expecting this to be called off. Weather giving us a great opportunity to do so. If it's on, best advice is for all Stars fans to save their rain-off tickets for a better meeting
Haza
Wouldn't that only happen if Kings Lynn say he is withholding his services bring in a guest up to NKI average, looks like they are going with a PL rider as guest below the average of six. isnt being unavailable the same ? g13webb
Rain due to clear to leave a dry afternoon and evening. I am coming up and hope I am not the only one there. Well I wont be ad I know of at least 15 other Poole fans making the arduous trip to Lynn. This is now a complete banana skin for Poole. We should win this I admit, but stranger things have happened. All those Coventry fans who said exactly the same when they got thumped at Poole then battled to a victory are probably still cursing that they stayed away. In times like this Lynn fans need tomcome out and support their team. Hoping for 4 points to secure our place in the playoffs. You must be mad.. Travelling all that way to see a one sided meeting. I'd give you four points now to save you the trouble.......
mdmc82
Have to feel for KL fans. We have the same to come with Kaspazak against Lakeside. Poole should easily pick up 4pts tonight. We were average and yet we went to King's Lynn and got 4pts against a full strength side so Poole should be looking to win with ease against a depleted side with no facility at No 1. This realistically helps rule King's Lynn out of the play off push

I'd give you four points now to save you the trouble....... True fans support their team. I have been to every Poole meeting this year bar Lakeside which I hugely regretted missing. A win tonight is far from guarenteed. Poole haven't travelled very well this year. You Lynn fans need to get behind your team. Worse than bleating Coventry fans. Trees
The promotion should be up front about Niels being available or not. Not that it should put the supporters off going to at least home meetings but at least they know. We all know the situation with him and his schedule and will understand him not racing for us but we don't want to be kept in the dark 😕 There is no preview of the mtg in today's EDP at all 😕 Edited August 11, 2016 by Trees

Yes Poole have been poor away this year but do you honestly think your team will lose to a side granted no facility for one of the best number 1s in the league meaning a 6pt PL rider. Plus no Kai and Morley at reserve? If you can't see this is a easy 4pts then it's you who has no faith in your team. Talk about trolling Edited August 11, 2016 by mdmc82
screm
isnt being unavailable the same ? NKI being unavailable is only half of it, its what Kings Lynn do to cover his absence that could see him band, obviously by going with a 5pt PL rider at No1 tonight Kings Lynn will get NKI back for their next meeting. When you come out with crap like that, its no wonder people have this bad impression of you......Let me inform you the Stars fans are the salt of the earth. Tell me another group would support their team for 50 years through thick and thin, without winning that elusive title. All we need is a little bit of hope and we're always be there. What we don't want is to be treated like mushrooms. The only reason Poole have the support it does, is because most are glory hunters, turning a blind eye when the rules can been bent to suit. I wonder if you would still be so optimistic after years with no trophies... But there's no need to worry. If you were to open your eyes you would see your 4 pts is guaranteed tonight , even if Batch, Lambert and Rory score well, that would only be 30 points, where's the other 15 coming from. I can see Poole scoring 55+ with ease..... Open your eyes man.........

Perhaps you need to get in a decent promoter rather than one who is happy with an "also ran" team.

No Buster, no team and he knows it. Our club is falling apart though and he's failing to see it Our club was at its best in the Premier League era, since moving to the EL the soul is being sucked out Edited August 11, 2016 by Danny Smith

krompa
KING’S LYNN: Troy Batchelor, Kai Huckenbeck, Rory Schlein, Ben Morley, Robert Lambert, Nikolaj Busk Jakobsen, Lewis Rose. So it is Kai for Niels. And I wonder if he will be at 1 (as Niels would have been) or it moves avarages around as listed on KL website with Troy, Rory and Lambo being 3 heat leaders in this case. Interesting stuff. Anyone able to clarify? Edited August 11, 2016 by krompa

stevebrum
Belle Vue will have to carry Jacobs, all Poole riders will at least score. my post was in reply to a Wolves Belle Vue final. SteveLyric2
Poole now have even more incentive to go for top spot in the league and ensure that they have choice of semi-final opponents - leaving the Aces and Wolves to fight the other semi out!!
MrMungo
Back in the PL days, this is the sort of meeting where KL would suffer a terminal electricity fault or something similar! It seems a million years ago now, Buster definitely seems to have mellowed lately, and there doesn't seem to be the 'must win' vibe you could feel several years ago. Quite looking forward to tonight though, despite the missing riders. When Poole were visiting the other season, it was one of the best matches I had seen in years (and on a slick track); not expecting the same level of entertainment but it would be nice!
