cityrebel
I can't believe that jack rode on after being thrown over the fence like a rag doll. Best wishes also to shane hazelden after another awful looking crash in heat 14.
stevec
I really hope Kent get their problems sorted with quick returns from injury or good replacements. Â I am an Eastbourne fan and despite the obvious local rivalry, I have really enjoyed Kent's success this season it would be seriously rotten to see that fall away with injuries.. Â Good luck and health to all.

Panthers89
Amazing how Jack Thomas rode through with a broken tibia and broken elbow!
Ommer Mon
I really feel for the Kings at the moment. They've barely got enough fit riders for a best pairs meeting. Hope things pick up and riders start coming back soon. Edited August 10, 2016 by Ommer Mon

teaboy279
not a problem according to mr drury!I saw a few comments about what he said before I read it, and I put on the Kent facebook page I would not be shocked by anything Drury writes after all these years, how wrong was I??? Lol
iand
So after Mr Drury's silly little rant at Kent, it's now Drury himself who is cheating. Â I believe the rules for the NL 4s is that you must include 4 of your top 5 riders by average. With Wajtknecht injured that means, Perry, Bacon, Hume and Ritchins. Â But the Birmingham lineup includes their 2 reserves instead of Hume and Ritchins, which isn't allowed. Â Perhaps if Drury can't raise a team he should do the honourable thing and pull out like Kent did? Hume rides for Ipswich at Glasgow, If fit Danny Ayres was to ride for Glasgow not in the 4's according to Kent press release Edited August 11, 2016 by iand
Sings4Speedway
So with Waj injured & Hume on PL duty its 4 of the available top 5 on averages? Its another clever interpretation of the rules by Dreary. I wouldn't be that impressed if i was Ritchings being dropped in favour of a reserve however i do actually think it makes them stronger grrr
iand
NL 4s takes priority over any league meetings. And where's Ritchins? Are you sure the 4's take priority?

iand
Only nlrc take priority over pl That is what I thought, I knew the NLRC had priority but didn't know about the other 2. Can't say I agree with it, but at the end of the day Hume has to ride for Ipswich and Dury wasn't cheating when naming his team.
Alex2000
But still why isn't ritchings in brums team?
iand
But still why isn't ritchings in brums team? Something that only Drury and Ritchings could answer. Perhaps Ritchings is carrying a knock, maybe he did a Hancock and stood aside to let the youngsters have a go, who knows? Is it only Birmingham who are are not using their top 4 riders? Brummies_Ste
GD has picked the 2 Jack's on current form Darryl has not looked the same rider since his 2 early season crashes I and many Brummie fans agree with the selection  could be he made himself unavailable I guess. They are the only team that can realistically do that! Ritchings said: “I’ve been struggling a bit for a while now and I know I am a much better rider than my form of late suggests. I got out of my racing routine after the birth of my son but on that front all things are back on track now. “I’ve been having a lot of mechanical problems and I haven’t been overly happy with my bikes at all. I’ve been spending extra time in the workshop and hopefully we will start reaping the rewards again soon. “On recent form, I can see why Graham has gone with the other boys; obviously I’m disappointed but I do understand the reasons why and I wish the boys the best."  Above quote by Darryl in 2days local paper  could be he made himself unavailable I guess. They are the only team that can realistically do that!
