stevebrum
Robins will be fodder in the play offs if they make it. Good recovery from the Bees after a rubbish start. Solid performance.
hagonshocker
Now clear Ellis is a rider on another level. Nothing against Bates but they are now not really comparable. Wtf??!
brandonbee48
After the first heat debacle i feared for the Bees but with "the young guns" Bates, Garritty and Woryna riding really well, it would have taken a much better Swindon team tt make a go of it. Bit better crowd too than usual for a Brandon televised meeting.
Woz01
KK wasn't happy with Garrity after a ride on Friday as well. Good win, thought it would be much closer.
Crazy robin
Robins will be fodder in the play offs if they make it. Good recovery from the Bees after a rubbish start. Solid performance. Doesn't say much about the league when a Premier League outfit plus Jason can get even close. No doubt Rosco will blame the track or something else but time to admit this team just isn't good enough.
orion
Surely they have to make a change ...Sedgeman has to be replaced as sadly he looks shot at the moment . I doubt there will be more of those tweets about boasting how good they are for a pl team .that is the problem when you get to big for your boots to soon . Lets be honest, we are only so close to the play offs because of that 4 or 5 weeks where Tungate and Sedgy were at reserve. And I can't believe I'm going to say this but my old nemesis mdmc called it back in May and she was dead right for once! We were only good because of the ridiculous reserve situation.

dump that clutch
well well well, what an utter shambolic meeting from our point of view. The Aussie spine of the team were on lawnmowers as it looked like their throttles didn't go right the way round, shutting off entering the bends.. the last statement was aimed more at Sedgy. Looks totally disinterested. Only a few more matches to go in 2016, then its all the talk of whether we get into our 'new' stadium for 2017.. pigs might fly. mikec
Nice to see Woryna going well- he was terrific for his Polish club Rybnik yesterday. Definitely a star in the making. Agree 100%, watched him at Brandon v Belle Vue a couple of weeks ago & I thought he was excellent. Can't be on that big an average & I'd expect him to improve. I'd be amazed if the Bees let him go come 2017.

mdmc82
I really enjoyed that meeting. It was like watching team GB V Australia all over again. 😉 The track didn't look as good as usual to begin with as it looked slick but still produced some good racing. It was good to see Harris & Wright both get up from being brought off. A good all round team performance. Shame we had to wait until now. It's great to finally have a full team. It was great having Garrity back. At times on track he was all over the place but his 3rd race was due to his seat bracket coming off. The big difference was having him back in the pits. Team look most confident I have seen them this season esp Sarjeant. It was the lower order that impressed me the most tonight. Much better from Woryna who has now adapted to the track. Sarjeant looked much more confident and was one of the only ones not to jump the start lol. As for Bates, what a heat 15!! Great to see him get heat 15 but then to win it over GP Doyle & Tungate was amazing. Question for Lisa & Steve, do you still think King & Bates can only gate 😉 I think those Poole fans who consistently compare Ellis to Bates, saying he's a gater who only beats other reserves, need to take off their blue tinted glasses. The lad has improved so much this year. He dropped only 1pt all night to a Swindon rider. Edited August 8, 2016 by mdmc82

I have always said Bates is fast when he is outfront and when Doyle messed up the second bend it was a waste of time trying to chase down the young lad. Total borefest of a meeting. Best bit was KK giving Garrity the sh*ts. Edited August 8, 2016 by Steve Shovlar
Fromafar
Great Team spirit from Garrity obviously doesn't like KK.If I was KK I would not like to be in the same race as Garrity the guy is a liability on a bike .KK is world class.
A ORLOV
Absolutely diabolical performance from Swindon, only Jason and Rohan showed any signs of beating the opposition. It must be too late now for us to get anywhere near the playoffs unless Rosco gets the riders together at a track and gets them to sort out their bikes or themselves. The alternative is to replace a couple of the riders but I cannot see that happening. So it looks like our last home meeting will be against Poole on 22nd. Fromafar
Never been a Bates fan ,but will admit the times I have seen him this season he seems more in control and seems to be improving, some nice rides tonight.
Coventry_Bee
Enjoyed tonight's meeting, Swindon were poor but credit to us for making them look this way. A few points, first is KK rides a very different line than the likes of Harris,King and Garrity he is very tight into the bend and the speed carries him out wide and is causing a few issues on Friday and tonight. They did seem ok together after the race and in all fairness Jason is very good at showing his emotions, if he is last you know you are going to get him shaking his head as he goes over the line and after he broke the tapes in heat 1 and was all over the place in his second ride you can imagine how fired up he was for his third ride. KK is the number 1 and Garrity has very little awareness of who is around him in my opinion but racing each other is only going to cause issues further down the road. My other point is why does sarj have to constantly have that poor mechanic come out with fuel and cooler after every stoppage, is he running on such low fuel and his clutch get warmer than the others?? There might be good reason but it just seems he is the only rider who does it. After the stock cars I think the track staff deserve credit, could have been another sky sports horror show. Daniel Smith
Nothing to say about this meeting except for Coventry's air fence - answers required as it's a death trap. Might aswell not be there, disgraceful.
Steve Shovlar
Garrity crapped himself riding with KK and I bet KK was laughing under his helmet ad he pushed Garrity along. But to say in the interview all the riders get along with the exception of KK shows the team is not together and Garrity should have kept his personal opinion to himself. He is a completely inferior rider to the Pole in every aspect. Nothing to say about this meeting except for Coventry's air fence - answers required as it's a death trap. Might aswell not be there, disgraceful. Harris came off in exactly the same place Holder fell, but Harris was lucky in that he clipped a part of the airfence which slowed his impact. Holder was going much faster and with the bike rasing the airfence he hit it at full speed breaking his legs and thigh. Nothing seems to have changed. The fence is just as dangerous.
