Gavan
The troll says Garrity isn't as good as a KK lol. Of course he isn't so yet again a post to get a reaction quite sad really. But hey at least we know Garrity has left Newman way behind
Fromafar
Garrity crapped himself riding with KK and I bet KK was laughing under his helmet ad he pushed Garrity along. But to say in the interview all the riders get along with the exception of KK shows the team is not together and Garrity should have kept his personal opinion to himself. He is a completely inferior rider to the Pole in every aspect. Harris came off in exactly the same place Holder fell, but Harris was lucky in that he clipped a part of the airfence which slowed his impact. Holder was going much faster and with the bike rasing the airfence he hit it at full speed breaking his legs and thigh. Nothing seems to have changed. The fence is just as dangerous. The air fence is a problem ,need to be rectified. IMO
Steve Shovlar
The air fence is a problem ,need to be rectified. IMO only way to rectify it is to remove the concrete barrier. Harris was a lucky boy tonight.
A ORLOV
only way to rectify it is to remove the concrete barrier. Harris was a lucky boy tonight. Agree but if they need the concrete barrier because of stock cars they need to bolt a second airfence into the ground so it cannot lift, behind the present one. Mark
Maybe the airfence apron could be either screwed to the floor or maybe have a have a water filled lip to make it heavy and harder to leave the floor.

LisaColette
I really enjoyed that meeting. It was like watching team GB V Australia all over again. 😉 The track didn't look as good as usual to begin with as it looked slick but still produced some good racing. It was good to see Harris & Wright both get up from being brought off. A good all round team performance. Shame we had to wait until now. It's great to finally have a full team. It was great having Garrity back. At times on track he was all over the place but his 3rd race was due to his seat bracket coming off. The big difference was having him back in the pits. Team look most confident I have seen them this season esp Sarjeant. It was the lower order that impressed me the most tonight. Much better from Woryna who has now adapted to the track. Sarjeant looked much more confident and was one of the only ones not to jump the start lol. As for Bates, what a heat 15!! Great to see him get heat 15 but then to win it over GP Doyle & Tungate was amazing. Question for Lisa & Steve, do you still think King & Bates can only gate 😉 I think those Poole fans who consistently compare Ellis to Bates, saying he's a gater who only beats other reserves, need to take off their blue tinted glasses. The lad has improved so much this year. He dropped only 1pt all night to a Swindon rider. I never said Bates was a gater. Just King. Check your facts before you accuse me of stuff, thanks. The troll says Garrity isn't as good as a KK lol. Of course he isn't so yet again a post to get a reaction quite sad really. But hey at least we know Garrity has left Newman way behindAnd he got a reaction! Ha ha ha ha ha. Yes well done for bringing Newman into it once again (yawn). Compare Garrity to Poles the same age and he is light-years behind.
BuzzCagney
Well done to Coventry. Well deserved. As to my team, well, Rosco told the doubters at the start of the season that he knew this team, he knew what they were all about. So presumably he saw all of this coming. Which does rather beg the question: Why did he select this team!
g13webb
only way to rectify it is to remove the concrete barrier. Harris was a lucky boy tonight. For those of you, more observant than others, will have noticed, looking at the track from the Pearson and Tatum Studio position, you will have seen that there were additional protection added to the Brandon fencing. Inside the concrete wall were placed a row of tyres, to which they then positioned a wooden perimeter fence. The AIR Fence is than placed inside so giving as much protection as possible. I don't condone the Air fence lifting, and provisions should be made for them to be tethered down. But I feel the lessons leant from Holders crash has been taken on board and that Harris last night bears the fruits of that work. There is only so much that can be done, and in this case I feel Coventry are being unfairly criticised.

Yes he did get a reaction and every time he posts stuff just to troll i will post similar stuff back to him. Hence the Garrity/Newman debate. Only a troll would compare Garrity to KK

sparkafag
Get a bit fed up reading Ellis or Bates debates to be honest, they are both British and could both be quite good…should celebrate both rather than constantly doing most readers of this forums ** in. What does Nick Morris do to resuscitate his career….went a bit pear shaped for him this season. It is, and I don’t mind a decent bickering session myself but every single Coventry, Poole, Team GB thread as well as a few random other ones…gets a bit repetitive more so when it is just the same 2 or 3 posting the same point over and over.

What does Nick Morris do to resuscitate his career.went a bit pear shaped for him this season. We were saying last night how when you look at how Morris was for us and Glasgow 5 years ago, he looked like he had a big future and talent. However he doesn't seem to have improved a huge amount in that time esp as the league line ups are weaker now. I think a move away from Rosco & Swindon might be what he needs. Might be missing PL
jim3751
I don't understand track preparation and I do know that stock cars produce deep ruts but why does the track have to be slick? Where does all the surplus shale go? As it happens Coventry won on the night anyway but it wasn't their usual track and maybe Swindon were expecting something different as well. Certainly Chris Louis was.
