TurnTwo
I believe He's going to be undeclared out of Glasgow and replaced with Chessell so a guest can't be used for him as he isn't a pl rider anymore...
Islander15
I've obviously missed this, but when did Ayres crash to break his wrist?
Sings4Speedway
Nearly went to this one but from what i have heard was lucky to give it a miss. When riders like Hughes struggle with the surface its time to re-assess the situation? Does a different type pf shale need using? The most damning statement i heard was "if this was my first speedway meeting i would never attend again" If the sport is to survive surely all meetings need handling like its all spectators first visit. Hardly the first time we have heard of problems with the Tigers track ! And a hour and a half wait for the meeting too start ? This is an example of why I do not go to NL meetings any more. cityrebel
I went to Peterbrough yesterday, it was an excellent meeting. Including tractor breaks and interval it was all done and dusted within 90 minutes. Barring accidents, this is how all meetings should be run.

When the surface is firm and consistent it produces excellent racing but when it is grippy or worse patchy with grip it creates no end of problems. Id wager its the NL track where most injuries have been sustained this season?
Super Blue
I attended this meeting as I have an enforced break from the sport imminent and when it eventually got underway it was one lot of misfortune after another for both sides! I know Mildenhall does have issues with track prep especially the day after a stock car event but it actually looked OK to the naked eye, oh how wrong I was in thinking that. One fall after another, constant reruns, withdrawals with injuries, it was frustrating to watch and if it hadn't been such a nice day I'm sure I would have gone home long before the end. Having said that as an Ipswich Witches fan with a soft spot for Mildenhall I did eventually enjoy some of the racing and was pleased with the end result. Just a shame there was a slight case of irritation between rival supporters over the amount of falls with some Kent fans saying that Mildenhall need to get some riders who can stay on their bikes. Nothing nasty but unnecessary.

From what I understand it was more tiredness causing Kyle's crashes rather than the track. The track was tricky to say the least. Was well watered in order to keep the dust down.Unfortunately for us it dried quicker in some parts compared to others. I'm struggling to see what the club could have done about the delayed start.I've seen people moaning about it all day. What else could the club have done? The ambulance which was booked broke down.We had to arrange another 1 which was coming from over an hour away (this is a general reply and not aimed at you sings lol)
