mdmc82
You say it like it was a bad thing! From March until June, he was our best rider. That says a lot about the rest of your team then 😂 He's been one of the worst riders I've seen at Brandon this year. Holder was by far your best
stevebrum
Hans is on a 2 year deal so Poole are stuck with him again next year No such deal . Wasn't Bjarne on a 2 year deal with Birmingham that didn't even last a season?
Steve Shovlar
Strange isn't it - or maybe not?! - that Gavan is back from his 'sabbatical' and straight onto a thread that involves Poole. Not that he has any issues with Poole you understand.........................?! Its in his dna. He can't bear to be away from anything Poole. Closet fan.
Aces51
how many matches do forum members think an elite league rider needs around a track to work out racing lines, engine settings etc,etc come the play offs belle vue will have raced 14 matches at their new venue, would you think that would be enough for all the riders?half the riders?or just one or two to have the track sussed, woffie got the hang of it in one evening. I think you miss the point. A new track takes time to settle so the conditions and the lines are different week to week. This is even more so with a wide, big track with so many potential lines. Independent opinion from the likes of Rosco and Tatum have said exactly that. Â Every team eventually does build up a home advantage, some more than others because of the nature of the track. We had a big home advantage at the dog track. I doubt Belle Vue will ever have that sort of advantage at the NSS or, anything approaching it, because everyone enjoys riding there and it is a track where it will be difficult to defend a position once all the riding lines are fully developed. You miss one fundamental point. Poole have lots of away meetings still to come. Poole have ridden two more home meetings than BV. BV have ridden 13 away compared to Pooles 7. Top of the table and looking mighty impressive, won at Wolves and Poole easily.

Thats why i said stats at this time it is you who is being a little premiture yes Belle vue may finish up with better stats and then be favourites who knows what may happen they may they may not lets see how the season unfolds but at this time Pooles stats say that they are still the better team and thus favourites. So you saying that Belle vue at this time are favourites is b/s and you are wrong so keep on trolling along. foreverblue
When you are long odds on favourites to win and you then dont thats choking. Â And Steve is well regarded as the forum troll. H posts to get a reaction. Â Take a good look at Fred Flange post and then my one as well. All we are doing is responding in the same manner that Shovlar posts in. Its quite fun really. If he or any other Poole fans dont like it then dont dish it out, simple really We have never been long odds on evens mostly but not odds on . Hope we face Belle Vue again, they must have some home track advantage they ride it every week!
Steve Shovlar
Of course Belle Vue are Favourites! They are on great form, almost unbeatable and miles clear at the top of the league! What part of "best team this year" don't you understand? Â They are clear favourites. Anyone with an ounce of knowledge about the sport knows this. Its not even up for debate. All other teams are floundering while Belle Vue keep on winning. They could easily go the rest of this season without losing again.

You know and i know that the league is just one long qualifying round these days. Poole teams are always built for the knock out rounds of the play offs. You have two number 1 class heat leaders good strong middle order and most of all 2 very good reserves (who won you the title last year) no weak links. All the other play off contenders have one number 1 class rider and 1 weak reserve so over a 2 leg knockout cup Poole are odds on favourites to win.Man for man on paper you are better than any team you will meet and that is why Poole are favourites again this year and you know it.I just hope that this year your speal is right and over the play offs we can raise our game and kick your asses. mdmc82
Well Swindon race at Coventry on monday and should get 4 points, then the following week we are away at Kings Lynn which could be more. Nowhere near 4pts at Cov. If they race like that at King's then they might come away with nothing again
