tellboy
Nice try Gavan, but it doesn't cut it! Team who finishes top will be favourites as they are the best team over the whole season. According to the bookies Gavan is correct. They have Poole down as favourites .

mdmc82
As I posted earlier in response to Gavan, he has passed more riders this year but I'm talking over his whole career. How many riders did he pass at Leicester?? Nice try Gavan, but it doesn't cut it! Team who finishes top will be favourites as they are the best team over the whole season. Coventry were Top of the league for most of last season and winning easily home & away but come August we had injuries tand then lost Kylmakorpi and it all went downhill. Anything can happen as you know. However I think this is one of the closest we have had at the top with Belle Vue, Poole & Wolves all looking capable. tellboy
Personally i would like Belle Vue to win.But the fact Poole started the season with the best reserves as a pairing, and will finish the season with the best reserves that is the biggest factor in making them favourites. Shaleshifter
As an Aces fan I'm concerned about Wolves 'cause they are good and Poole 'cause they cheat. Can't help yourself Ouch can you?
Wolfsbane
If Wolves can get to the final they are quite capable of beating Poole or BV over 2 legs. Getting to and winning the semi final, that's another matter entirely. Edited August 8, 2016 by Wolfsbane

Why do Poole fans not believe in facts??
Perton Wolf
Belle Vue for me, look strong at all positions and very capable away from home too. Think over 2 legs, they will be the favourites despite not having much of a home advantage.
dorset delight
nothing to do with nice try. Fact is Poole have been favourites since March and they still are. Why do Poole fans not believe in facts?? Give it up, Poole may be the bookies favourites but anyone half a brain can see it's Belle Vue's to lose they are the form team on a great run and as we speak 12 points up at Wolves. It's going to take a superhuman effort from anyone to stop them.
thecoombdog
All you Poole fans should get rich and back Belle Vue at odds against.

Poole are favourites it's not up for debate!!! Go on any bookies website it's in black and white. True if Belle Vue keep flying they may then become favourites but they aren't yet. Don't know why all you Poole fans aren't rushing to the bookies to back Belle Vue!!!

Thing is Vincent I am a realist and Belle Vue are clear favourites. They say they don't have much home advantage but have only lost once at home. Away they are dominant, and no other club can match them. So anyone who has a little speedway knowledge will know they are clear favourites this season. Poole have struggled on their travels all season. We can't win the league every year and if Belle Vue sweep all before them in 2016, which looks highly likely, I would be the first to congratulate them. Some of their lower order have really improved taking the pressure off the heat leaders. If Poole make the final I shall be at Belle Vue and hopefully it will be a thriller. But the way Belle Vue are riding they could possibly win both legs. And that's why they are now clear favourites. Belle Vue will smash Poole over 2 legs. Easy money at 13/8 I don't know about smash but fill ya boots.
