Steve Shovlar
Nope, we've 'owned' wolves all season but lost at home to Swindon. Even if we did beat Swindon Poole could beat the world champion in the other cup semi and ruin our chance of a massive payday. The biggest league gate you have had this season is against Poole on Monday. Even though we are a long way from Manchester, Poole would bring a lot of fans for the final. The place will be full regardless of whether it is Poole or Wolverhampton.
Ace no.5
My thoughts exactly. There is not a chance in the world our management will pick Wolves for the semi should we finish top... The management will be backing their riders to beat Swindon/Lakeside (and I reckon there will be a good sized crowd for the semi) and then hopefully get a mega payday against wolves or a very good payday against Poole (going for 4 in a row!) in the final. LisaColette
lets all get there, give the team massive support, get in the play offs and roll the dice, who knows woffy could have 3 punctures !!Only if you get someone into the pits and stick a pin into the tyre! Not that I would suggest doing that, as have seen a lot of bad falls from when riders have had a puncture!
Gavan
I think Poole will have 2 much for Belle Vue at Wimborne Road. Ellis is a bit of a liability away but at home he is a strong second string and i would expect Bjarne and Newman to outscore their opposing numbers easily enough. The only issue is that Ellis should be lining up for Eastbourne Fricke isnt great at Poole and if KK rides i would fancy Poole to win by 10. I would fancy Poole to beat Belle Vue over 2 legs I would fancy Belle Vue to beat Wolves over 2 legs I would fancy Wolves to beat Poole over 2 legs. No idea who would win the league though i would love the countrys biggest club, Belle Vue, to be back on top Edited August 31, 2016 by Gavan
Joe Beevers
Well after the last few nights result, I would probably have: Belle Vue as favourites followed by Wolverhampton and Poole. Poole would have drawn perhaps lost tonight because Hans Andersens scores in recent weeks wouldn't have matched Kasprzaks paid maximum tonight and Belle Vue would win over the two legs unless Poole swap things around. Having said that, Belle Vue like the Wolverhampton track but Tai Woffinden seemed unbeatable in the World Cup at Belle Vue so it's very close but I think Brlle Vues reserves and second strings have something in hand over Wolverhampton.

Even if we did beat Swindon Poole could beat the world champion in the other cup semi and ruin our chance of a massive payday. You forget one small thing we are so much stronger with Tai in the team You know what, you could be right! Still better to guarantee the massive gate against the world champion than risk losing against Swindon again and missing out completely. How negative. .....you really don't believe in your team do you.So what will happen is you hope to beat wolves and then you'll loose to Swindon in the final going on your negativity. My thoughts exactly. There is not a chance in the world our management will pick Wolves for the semi should we finish top... Ok but let me give you something to think about.....what happens if you come to wolves on Monday and beat us convincingly would you still avoid picking us ? stevebrum
 Brum at his best... It's just a prediction based on the Aces being the supposed team to beat. must make Poole the favourites again then?

mikec
For me its Wolves for the 2016 EL title. Tried to get on the 7/1 some bookies had been offering as soon as Kylmakorpi tweeted goodbye -but I was too late. Of course key injuries could de-rail any of the challenges of the teams involved, just think the Tai-factor gives them the edge as things stand now. Hope I'm wrong though!
