SharpenRake
This looks like a potential banana skin for the Tigers. Workington's top 4 knocked us out of the 4's and they have all had good meetings at Ashfield. Hope the ref keeps an eye on Ricky W who has been known to get the odd flier. So could be down to the bottom 3 riders to see who gets the points. Luke Chessell stands in for the injured hero danny Ayres. He did really well against the moanrchs but sadly don't see him doing that again, although I hope I'm wrong. Fernando looks as if he just hasn't got he power in his engine that he had earlier in the season. are all the crashes taking there toll? so that leaves Nike and a possible 6 rides for the young lad. so it could go pear shaped. But comets bottom 3 are a bit hit and miss. Think we''ll win but it will be closer than a lot of people think.
damosuzuki
Workington are a good side. However home advantage for our top 4 and Lunna at 6 makes it 50-40 for me.

Lord Lucan
Going to be a tough ask to get a result here, no reason why we can't make a decent fist of things and grab a point!! We always used to ride well at Ashfield but the last couple of seasons have been pretty barren, it's about time we turned up and gave it some wellie? TheScotsman
Stroll in the park for Worky and then the rain will hammer down.
Gazc
Stroll in the park for Worky and then the rain will hammer down. Should be a much sterner test this week against a good team last week was how shall we say A stroll in the park.

SharpenRake
Weather forecast has got better now dry until 5pm. Although with the forecast wind might get a track record for the tandem races 😊 which if like last week should start just after 2.30pm

jenga
dont worry , glasgow can afford the rain offs . i think there will be one tandem missing from the tandem race as robert lambert needs it for his meeting at newcastle . last nights tandem was a good bit short on power . no sponges or fuel tap issues with a tandem . hope all riders have a safe and an entertaining meeting for the fans . worky charged 10 pounds entry last night and this put a fair few on the gate . the same last week .(see peterborough w/site pics of main stand from last weeks meet ).. . pretty full . victory is ours .! MD
Pretty poor meeting for the first half, Worky never really got going until ht13, being poorly served by their woeful middle order of Campton, Hansen and Jensen. EF's for Worrall and Lunna stopped Glasgow hitting 60 though only just. Ht15 was decent as Lawson went from third to first. Lunna again ran riot from reserve but perhaps the only memorable part of the meeting was the unseasonable wind which made poor opposition all the less bearable to watch.
Gazc
Was expecting better from Workington today but take nothing away from Glasgow they were extremely good again today with everybody riding well young Nike really has come on leaps & bounds as the season has progressed he was a joy to watch. Special mention to Coty was more like what we know he can do today and riding hard first & second bends . Whilst it was not quite as easy as last week it was still a surprise to win so comfortably against a decent Workington side.
gregory peck
If worky do make the play offs they'd have to win their home legs by 30 pts,and hope it's enough,so frustrating how a team can be nigh unbeatable at home and ride like a nl select away
Lord Lucan
Very disappointing performance again at Glasgow by us, just really seem completely unable to transfer our home form to any away tracks in the PL? It's not looking good at the moment with Somerset and now Glasgow putting us to the sword, I can hardly see us beating either of just those two over two legs in anything to be in with a chance of any silverware, just simply cannot understand it? Perhaps Glasgow today were just plain better than us but surely we could have competed far more than we did, our guys should be well used to these tracks by now to be showing up much more than we currently do?
