foreverblue
Good win for the Lions, think they would have won even with the Bees enigmatic Pole.He hasnt been enigmatic for Coventry. So why isnt the sec recognised? Its the second biggest individual tournament we have..
Sidney the robin
It's the planning of fixtures that's the issue. Get that right and we wouldn't even be talking about this. I have no issue with the rule.People paying 17 quid might though, it does not matter who is right and who is wrong this is an Entertainment business common sense comes into it surely.?If people feel they are getting ripped off surely that make them think about picking and choosing meetings.

Kasprzak or no Mr.Kasprzak it was the largest crowd by far at Leicester last night. Plus some decent close racing. Makes me wonder more why the powers that be insist on running meetings when we're barely out of winter. Nice sunny evening seems to bring the crowds
stevebrum
He hasnt been enigmatic for Coventry Yes he has. Even the bees fans have said he has had his moments of enigma this year with some dreadful scores amongst some great ones. It's the usual enigmatic performances we usually see from him in the EL. LisaColette
At least Horton didnt have a hissy fit about it when riders are missing and hasnt moaned at the host club for not changing the date onto an off race night. Think he knows it's an error on his part agreeing to this date. No, he just rants about Poole mainly! Lol
mdmc82
Which bees fans? (Sigh) Yes we get you don't like him but surely even you must admit what a great season he's having. He has had a handful of poor meetings (one after a family funeral) but he's had lots of class meetings where he's been hard to beat. How many riders get a full max at king's Lynn against Iversen. http://www.kandysoft.com/averages/kk_gs.htm He hasnt been enigmatic for Coventry Yes he has. Gemini
Why do you bother justifying anything mdmc82? Stevebrum doesn't like KK and lisa-collette doesn't like Coventry. Nothing will change so it's not worth the effort of replying.
Woz01
No, he just rants about Poole mainly! Lol Vice versa from Ford too 😆 KK has had 3-4 poor meetings but he's generally been excellent this season. If he rode last night we might have won the meeting. People paying 17 quid might though, it does not matter who is right and who is wrong this is an Entertainment business common sense comes into it surely.?If people feel they are getting ripped off surely that make them think about picking and choosing meetings. To be honest i agree with the rule. He's riding in an event that is not recognised, if we start giving out facilities to that then what next. It's the fixture planning that needs to be right. I've said before this is where a squad system would help, yes we wouldn't have a rider in the class of KK replacing him but would surely have a rider that would at least score points. Ok, so say he replaced KK 3 times in the season.... What does he do the rest of the time? Unless he's an EL 5 pointer, he'd be rarely able to replace other team riders.... and a 5 point EL rider isn't KK like for like..

He has had a handful of poor meetings (one after a family funeral) but he's had lots of class meetings where he's been hard to beat. what is different to what I said? ? I said he has had some stinkers amongst his brilliant ones which is usual for KK. If you choose to believe other Bees fans haven't said he has had some stinkers then I'm wasting my time. talk about pointing out the obvious! Why do you bother justifying anything mdmc82? Stevebrum doesn't like KK and lisa-collette doesn't like Coventry. Nothing will change so it's not worth the effort of replying. Nothing needed justifying. I said KK has had some stinkers and you often don't know what you are going to get from him. Otherwise he has been a decent signing for you. You see, I can see the bigger picture. Still glad he is riding for you and not us however.
SCB
Nobody loves telling Stevebrum he's wrong more than me by the word enigmatic could have been made for KK! The guy scored a maximum at Lynn and failed to beat anyone at all at Swindon. When he's great he's great but he can be terrible too, sadly. Still rather him in the team than most other riders, certainly in his better seasons. Edited August 7, 2016 by SCB
New Science
Was some good racing. Good crowd too. Shame no Kasprzak as he's great round Beaumont Park. Top effort from both sets of riders despite the meeting not having much riding on it. Just hope the Lions promotion get their act together so we can do it all over again next year! On the flip side on a Saturday night in the height of summer one team can't sign a genuine number 1 and the other teams number 1 has other commitments

Anyway, the word enigmatic has already been claimed by the one and only Finn Jensen.

Jonas/Daniel Davidson style? Edited August 7, 2016 by SCB
