Shale Searcher
Well, any scoreline guesses? No KK for the Bees, a fully fit and present Lions Team? Weather? Will do a forecast later today....
mdmc82
No Kaspazak and NO FACILITY meaning only a 3pt EL rider/6pt PL rider at number one. Should be an easy home win in a meeting we could have won with a full team.
Woz01
Shame KK is missing as we could've won this. Need all the rest to step up to claim a point.

Won't be a full Lions team, presume Lindgren will be at Workington with Newcastle.
Astill lodge lion
Palm-Toft for Lindgren. From world speedway.com (Friday) :- The Lions are back in track action on Saturday against the Coventry Bees. It will be the first time in five weeks that the Lions have raced at Beaumont Park and the second time in twenty-four hours that the two clubs have faced one another following the Elite League fixture at Coventry tonight. There are changes on both sides. The Bees are missing their top scorer and Grand Prix rider Krzysztof Kasprzak who is appearing in Round 2 of the Speedway European Championship in Latvia. Kasprzaks absence will be covered by a guest. Whilst for the Paul Chapman and Sons Lions they welcome back Paul Starke who was riding for his Premier League club Somerset last night but lose Ludvig Lindgren also due to a clash of fixtures with his second tier club the Newcastle Diamonds who have a match at Workington. It is a big plus to have Paul back in the side but that is counteracted by the fact that we lose Ludvig who has been our ace at reserve since he joined us and on current form he is our second highest scorer behind Nicolai Klindt at Leicester said the Lions Team Manager, Norrie Allan. Lindgrens place in the team will be filled by Michael Palm Toft who rides for Scunthorpe in the Premier League. The Dane guested for Leicester recently in their match at Belle Vue and ended the night as Leicesters top scorer with thirteen points which included three heat wins against one of his former clubs. I promised Michael after the Belle Vue meeting that should we require a guest again this season and his match average fitted he would be the first person I would contact to offer him another appearance. I am pleased that he was available and accepted our invitation to race for Leicester again added Allan. Coventry: 1. Guest tbc for Krzysztof Kasprzak, 2. Jason Garrity, 3. Danny King, 4. Josh Bates, 5. Chris Harris, 6. Kacper Woryna and 7. James Sarjeant Leicester: 1. Patrick Hougaard, 2. Aaron Summers, 3. Nicolai Klindt, 4. Paul Starke, 5. Szymon Wozniak, 6. Michael Palm Toft and 7. mdmc82
The guest at no 1 for Kaspazak is Ashley Morris. And people wonder why speedway is a dying sport. Huge weakness for bees due to stupid rules.

So let British Speedway gives facilities for any "mickey mouse" foreign meeting plus grass/long track.!!! People are already moaning about the number of guests used as it is.

The rules are not crazy- 3 riders in Euro`s who ride Elite- Kasprzak, Andersen and Kylmakorpi. bit more forsight by the fixture planners( and Coventry) could have avoided this clash. Precisely, but then Horton won't be bothered as it won't be having any impact on his pocket, and we all realised he had given up on this season some time ago. About the middle of March if my memory serves me well.
Woz01
It's the planning of fixtures that's the issue. Get that right and we wouldn't even be talking about this. I have no issue with the rule.
Shale Searcher
Guests for injured no 1's, 3's and 5's only, or R/R. R/R only for 2's and 4's, No 6 and 7 should bring in a kid from clubs national league team, or nominated national league team if club does not have one... No facility except R/R if 1, 3, 5 riding in any other meeting except FIM competition.... That would make teams think about signings, and meeting planning.... Some supporters will vote with there feet ..its the 16/17 quid to watch 9 premier league riders which a few fellow fans don't like . If its a good meeting & your entertained who cares whose riding ?? Anything can happen on the night 60-30 or 30-60 !
