Can't remember a time when Jim McGregor wasn't referee when I've been up here. Is he here every week?

£2 parking

£17 admission

£2.80 programme.

I thought it was cheaper up north?

Next time you're up book in advance and save some money. :)https://tickets.edinburghmonarchs.co.uk/book-tickets

I can only assume you pay in every week to ashfield so that you can make such an 'informed':rofl: opinion

No he doesnt he hasnt a clue about what goes on at Ashfield on a Sunday but dont let that get in the way off having another sly dig it is what he does.

He is a waste off bandwidth.

Finally over after 2 hours and 15 minutes - no kids race, no additional entertainment, just 15 heats of speedway. Those in attendance were treated to 7 reruns but I suppose that's what happens when you mix rain with a trick track.

I can only assume you read into this from the updates and were not there. Given that they actually stopped for almost half an hour due to a sudden massive downpour which required track work after it stopped it was a well run meeting with little delay between races. 2 massive crashes that needed air fence panels replacing.

Maybe they should have sent the jungle balls round whilst riders were lying on the deck recovering from crashes. Is that what you would have preferred

Tonight was the 2nd meeting Jim McGregor has been the referee at Armadale this season, that's hardly above average is it!!

Well he certainly made a hash of the heat 3 decision, the edinburgh rider on the inside lifted all by himself and took the other guy with him and should have been excluded.

As has been said thank god for airfences though, that was nasty, the view from the video behind was scary.

Ryan was hit by the Rye House rider which caused him to lift in the first instance so ref called it right - 1st bend all 4 back

You obviously havent seen the video. even the guy calling the race said he took him out by himself.

Have a look then see what you think the view from the side shows there was daylight between them.

Watch the video. I have watched it about 20 times and Ryan alone was at fault. The Rye rider was nowhere near him. It appeared Fisher picked up grip and shot forward. He should have been excluded.
