Swindon - Kings Lynn 4.8.16

Recommended Posts

Tonight was not to bad a few half decent races pleased for Rohan he rode well and Charles.For the Stars Puk and Lambert really were impressive first time out, but they faded somewhat Busk Jacobsen impressed me ( reminded me so much of Per Sorensen).As for the future these teams Swindon certainly have no chance of winning the league.

Thought Troy had a bit of a go as did Lambert but the rest were so inconsistent...well Kerr and Rose were very disappointing Schlein started off ok although despite winning heat 3 still looked a bit iffy and what can you make of Puk? Very up and down as seems to be the norm for him at Blunsdon , yes i agree with Sidney was impressed with NBJ and above all nice to see Darcy back at the Abbey

Last two rides he gated diabolically, pulled up onto the centre green after he just managed to hold Troy out and looked dejected with his bike

Thanks for that. So reading between the lines - keeping his average down with next year in mind :wink:

Don't think NKI is impressed with the track!

Cheats!!! Never catch Poole doing anything like that. :D :D ;)

Don't think Lambert or NKI are.

@ruthlesslambert 6+2 tonight at Swindon track was hard though with many ruts

And Wolves

Not intending to decry the performances, Wolves have achieved this year, but surely no-one is deceiving themselves in thinking they will compete with Poole and Belle Vue for the League title this year. Those two are the stand out teams and are some way in front of the rest. Wolves have accredited themselves very good and are the next placed team, while the remaining are just anybody opinions.

Achieving a play-off position is not something to shout about,........ but for a few teams that's all we ever had to aim for.....

Why do Swindon often give away points at the start of the meeting, the first four heats were diabolical, we cannot afford a start like that against any of the top teams, or if we get to the play offs, which I am not sure we will do, where the aggregate scores count.

Is it the riders or is it the track, as after a lot of grading after heat 4 the roobins riders picked up.

Rohan has certainly improved as has Nick, and Josh and Charles put in impressive rides later in the meeting.

Kings Lynn only had one rider scoring well and that was NKI, and Nikolaj showed what he could do.

Next week is important with away meetings at Coventry, Kings Lynn and Belle Vue, which if we want to stay in the play offs position we need to win at least two of those.

Dancing queen gave me a tingle god I thought i was back in my beloved 70s i shed a tear last night.

Who ever was picking the music must be an Aussie as they love ABBA, I thought it was a tribute to all the Aussie riders in the meeting, but they can continue to play ABBA, say one track a week.

Only belle vue have a shot of keeping it close at monmore so i wouldnt rule us out !! Probably will be a wolves/poole semi final which will be hard to call over the two legs !!

Rosco agrees with Iversen

@doniversen

Said it used to be a cool race track and now its not. Think fans and riders deserve better.

@AJROSCO @doniversen agree mate 👍
