Shadders
Pretty dire stuff. Rockets mostly second best apart from the excellent Kennett ably assisted by Stuart Robson. Apart from those two it was disappointing. Branford, to be fair to him battled for his points, but on an awful gate & go track we had to make starts. Couple of decent races involving Kennett, apart from that it was rubbish. Very little chance of overhauling 16 points in the second leg. Best of luck to Berwick in the semi final Edited August 6, 2016 by Shads
bigeddiechek
Great meeting, Rockets turned up for the fight, but we were able to come away with maybe enough points, maybe not. Â Another excellent Saturday night's entertainment

bigeddiechek
You're obviously taking the p*ss  Must have been at a different meeting to me. It was great. I'd describe it as a fast an furious meeting.  Kennett in heat 15 was superb, and has probably made the difference to who goes through.  All top notch. samsplint
Well bigeddie looks like you had your usual black and gold glasses on again if you think that was top notch or maybe too much refreshment in the B&G. Â let down in heat 15 again this could be the difference between a semi final place or BFH

Could have done with a better result in heat 15 right enough. Would have like to have seen a few more rides from an on fire Liam Carr too. topsoil
For me the tie is on a knife edge. You could see how much the 5-1 in heat 15 meant to the Rye House riders. Up until then I would have had Berwick with an advantage. Hopefully the points dropped with Daniel falling while in second, then Matty being passed by Kennett in heat 15 won't come back to bite us. Seen better meetings this season, mainly because Rye were a two man team, although Cameron Heeps and Robert Branford both showed flashes. But have to give credit to Berwick riders after the mammoth trip to Plymouth and back. On a personal note, this was my first time in hospitality this season. Would recommend it to anybody. Much better this season, the food is excellent, good place to watch the racing, the chance to watch the racing from the centre green and a crack with the riders afterwards. All set up nicely for the second leg. Well bigeddie looks like you had your usual black and gold glasses on again if you think that was top notch or maybe too much refreshment in the B&G.  let down in heat 15 again this could be the difference between a semi final place or BFH Depends what you go for. I go for a Saturday night out, a laugh with friends and a night watching a sport i always enjoy. I had a good night.

screm
well done scot and the boys roleon next week against tigers  Both feline, but its the Panthers up next rather than the Tigers.  With the lead they have it should be job done for Berwick. screm
What does anyone go to sport for. to see your team win that's the main reason I go  Value for money, all I want is to walk out of Shielfield and know I have seen a decent nights speedway for my admission money. Great result for Berwick which should see them into next round very good night for young Liam Kevs form a bit of a worry seems his bike is down on power not a great match to watch just a couple of passes  "Not a great match to watch", it was a great meeting......apparently.

Shadders
I have an EH postcode The delivery office I work in is EN6. We get loads of misdirected post with EH postcodes because the sorting machines at the distribution centres have misread them. If you live in EH6 postcode and your mail is late this could be one of the reasons. Same goes for BN6 (Brighton area) Edited August 7, 2016 by Shads

WestWallPoma
Â I just enjoyed it, had a good night out watching some bikes belt around a speedway track. Bravo! Once it's gone, that'll be gone. Once described Berwick Speedway to a non-believer as pretty much that: Â Me: "Four lunatics at a time on motorbikes without gears or brakes making a ^&*-tonne of noise, skidding round a banked track for a minute or so, a baw-hair away from smashing each other into a fence - and they do this fifteen times, and there's beer and burgers and chips. And the fumes are worthy of the admission price alone." Â Him: "Sounds good. Saturday, aye?" Â *queue: chorus of angels*
