Berwick V Rye House Ko Cup 06/08/16 7-00pm

Recommended Posts

Think it will depend on how many points Cameron, Leigh and Kasper gain against their opposite numbers. 7/8 points each, or 7/8 points between them?

Any advice on where I can stay overnight locally would be most welcome. Been a long time since I was up in Berwick (for a Mildenhall or Boston match in '86/'87 I reckon, when I was following David Jackson). Stayed in a not very nice b&b that time. Would be good to know about parking at the track and / or accommodation around it please, if somebody would be kind enough. Thank you.

Parking is free with plenty room at the track.

Cara House if not full

Pam & Dave will give you alternatives if they are full

Accomodation might be harder than parking, which -- as Scem has said -- is free.

Height of the holiday season means many places will be full.

Cara House is the club's recommended B&B, and should be your first point of contact (call Pam on 01289-302749) and, even if booked up, Pam may be able to recommend someplace else.

Alternatively, there is the Travelodge (0871-9846279)

I would love to know who sets these fixtures, Redcar then all the way down to Plymouth then back to Berwick in 3 days this must be the only sport that would do this the riders will be knackered before they start on saturday

I hope so

All part of being a professional sportsman, the Redcar and Plymouth fixtures have been there since the start of the season, with the Rye House one arranged weeks ago.

Kennet and Robson on form would keep this match tight IMO .Hard to predict though.

If Heeps, Branford and Morley can chip in with meaningful points I can see us keeping this very close.

52-38 should be enough to get us throught o a semi-final with Newcastle.

I think Rye will sneak it overall.

Both sides very inconsistent. Lots of if's and buts.

I'm sure this was originally supposed to be the league meeting so Rye would have been at Berwick tonight anyway.

100% correct.

Pretty dire stuff so far. Not a pass in the first ten heats. Rockets not clicking as a team tonight
