Shaleshifter
The Pirates are in action on Monday when they take on the Leicester Lions at Wimborne Road.Although at the bottom of the Elite League they have had a resurgence of late especially at Beaumont Park. They have riders like Hougaard and Klindt who have had good meetings at Wimborne Road and then throw in Paul Starke and this will be no walk over for the Pirates.Poole with two home meetings in quick succession with Wolverhampton to follow need to pick up all 6 points on offer if they want to get into the top two.Thoughts? damosuzuki
A hammering tbh. Poole by
LisaColette
I don't think it will be a hammering. Has anyone hammered them? They don't have amazing heatleaders (no offence!) but most of their riders are good for 6-9 points. So more likely to be 14-16 point win for Poole imo. Wolves (being the senior Monday track) had no objections, and then it was realised England were on the TV. Â Anyone other than bottom club Leicester and MF would probably have taken the risk of a reasonable crowd but instead erred on the side of caution. Some of the regular Wednesday race dates may well have seen no Hans or Bjarne?! Â Tomorrow's weather forecast looks diabolical as well. Odds On
I do hope this is rained off as in terms of entertainment and as a spectacle it will be nothing but a disaster for the sport, after the best advert the sport has had for many a year over the weekend the sport needs to keep that momentum. Steve Shovlar
With rain setting in mid afternoon for the remainder of the day I guess its only a matter of time before we get the news its off, unless by some fluke the clouds devide. Â With todays technology we can see exactly what's coming on the rainfall radar. Edited August 1, 2016 by Steve Shovlar

It's not on Sky so what's the problem? Not as if anyone outside the sport are going to be aware of any result tonight weather permitting
