Daniel Smith
With Kenneth in the EL, is that a 2 fingers up to the new Polish regulations? Sure he's already got a Swedish & Danish side along with an Ekstraliga side?

SteveLyric2
Bjerre's so called revised average of 8.22 is his finishing BEL 2015 average multiplied by the 1.4 adjustment applied to all riders who did not achieve a BPL 2016 average. Surely 8.22 is Bjerre's final 2016 Peterborough average?!
TheSmiler
Decent start. Lasse, Schlein and Bates next to be announced? Wouldn't touch Sarjeant or Woryna and would rather spent Garrity's points on another signing as I don't think he's worth that average unfortunately.

Bagpuss
Good solid start for Coventry. A fit and focussed Kenneth could score bucketfuls of points in a weakened league next year.

Col
Surely 8.22 is Bjerre's final 2016 Peterborough average?! No. He only did two meetings. 8.22 is his 2015 EL average with Kings Lynn of 5.87 * 1.

kingbee
Happy with Danny King. Never really a doubt to me that he would sign. Not so much with Bjerre. He's a rider I've found dull to watch esp after the excitement we have had of watching Harris & Garrity. He struggles under pressure as we have often seen. Looks like the rumoured team could be true then. KK definitely looks like he's on his way to Poole then. We can't have signed Rory as he would have been announced as signed for somebody a few weeks ago. we can still fit KK in and I think Rory is nailed on for Cov

Col
Which is the same thing of course! Not quite. Rye House (PL) 12/9/2016 Kenneth Bjerre - 3,2,3,3,3 = 14 Workington (PL) 09/9/2016 Kenneth Bjerre -- 2, 3, 3, 3, 1 = 12 12 + 14 / 10 * 4 = 10.
Gemini
Garrity on 8.55 or Batchelor on 7.34? Troy for me. So Troy & Schlein for Garrity & Kerr. No thanks! I wish people wouldn't link Troy with Coventry. Imagine having 2 whingeing Aussies in the same team ~ a bit of rain and they'd be in their civvies refusing to ride. The promotion will never please everyone with their signings of course but I'm still hoping to see Kylmakorpi in the team. Not keen on Sarjeant or Woryna returning but I'm really pleased Danny has signed.
BANANAMAN
mdmc82, on 19 Nov 2016 - 10:35 AM, said: I think he may have meant it as a compliment. If our rumoured team is true then Rye House's is much better. For almost 2 weeks your rumoured team did not have the Kings Lynn nailed on signing Danny King in it, so I suggest you watch this space & you may be a little surprised !

Woz01
I would be shocked if the rumoured line up is the actual line up. Kerr will surely go back to Kings Lynn for starters. Edited November 19, 2016 by woz01
foreverblue
Not quite. SCB
Kerr and Sarjeant. God I hope not! Kerr actually had a fairly decent second half of 2016. When you think about it the start of 2016 was always going to be tough going for him, coming back from near death and almost certain career ended injuries to not only get back on a bike and race but moved from Lynn to Lakeside in the EL (quite a change) and also changing clubs in the PL. He actually wouldn't be a bad signing on 5.98. Look at those between 5.5 and 6.5 and theres very little that stands out. Sarj on the other hand I was already thinking had gone stale at Coventry and needed a year away but I was worried he had a bargain average and someone else would gain from it. But as soon as they had to use PL averages I wouldn't have had him back. I like Sarj and actually think he's under rated by many, and you know what a year without having Havvy chatting bollocks to him about vendettas might work for him. If we're going to use 12 points on Sarj and Kerr I'd have preferred us use the 12 points in other ways. Schlein/Auty/Berge(I like him a lot!) and Roynon/Heeps/Wilson Dean/Carr are better combos IMO. Lest see what else comes our way. I think King is an OK signing, Bjerre is a brilliant signing. If we get baby-Bjerre (can hardly call him mini-Bjerre as Kenneth is tiny!) too I think we have a brilliant start. Garrity is an odd one for me, really quite poor value in terms of average but great value in terms of commitment and entertainment on track. I actually think the current rules make pretty much anyone on 8.5+ either poor or "meh", theres very few 8.5+ riders that look good value, Lindgren is about it. Would love Schlein. Weird that. If you said to be about 5 years ago you can have King, Schlein and Bjerre as your top 3 I'd have cried Edited November 19, 2016 by SCB
