One assumes they will get accepted. And they are going to get turned down? I don’t think so. I am really getting the feeling that some on here want the move to Leicester to fail miserably. Rather than have a team to support they would prefer Coventry to join Ellesmere Port, Long Eaton, Barrow, Oxford and Wimbledon and become defunct. They probably won't no but there is more to this tho. It would appear that BE are being very clever likewise Horton but neither have the club's best interest at heart in this move. I can see why some won't support it. However it's a dangerous move not supporting it because there is a huge risk they won't be seen again if they don't support it. First and foremost I love speedway and I attended many of the 'Storm' meetings which I enjoyed. There is nothing more I want than for Coventry Bees to get back on track albeit a new track as Brandon is out of the equation. Last season I got my speedway fix at Peterborough (my favourite track since Brandon closed) Somerset (always a good visit),King's Lynn on ''Holdergate'' evening (less said the better) and Sheffield --- (1st time) Wow! I wish I lived closer and they accepted dogs into the stadium. So am I really going to be helping Coventry Bees get back on track if I spend my well earned cash at National level or am I wasting my time? Talking of Horton, when the stink of whether the Bees would actually run was kicking off about a year ago, where was our beloved promoter? but in America for a few weeks. Now with him issuing statements about the Bees joining the NL, using words that smell of the usual stench of Brandon Estates BS and them paying the rent to Leicester to use him to try and help their own deluded and purely selfish cause, where is Horton at the moment? I hear a few weeks in Australia is not bad, considering you have had f@ck all to do for over a year. I wonder how he could afford that??? Hopefully the NL refuse the application. What a load of guff. Where’s the proof of this and why on earth would Brandon Estates want to pay Mick Horton any money? They don’t have any need to! They have booted out the speedway, have the keys to the locks and have bolted the gates. Why waste money on something they are not interested in?
