SCB
Not sure why things have to be dragged out to the nth degree before some type of news is issued. Clearly by now everything has been sorted one way or another and its just a case of releasing the news. Talk about taking the P out of the poor fans. The nth degree would be March 15th, thats still 8 weeks away! I think 8 weeks is plenty if the news in the next week is that we're running. Most people won't care by March when we're stood watching speedway moaning the season has started too soon as it's cold and wet!
houdi
If what I'm hearing is even half true then the BSF is going to go into meltdown (good news for the Bees BTW). I know this is a bit "I know something nerh nerh) but I've heard so many stories in the last few months it's probably not true, it's just that the latest has made me laugh and then smile a lot. Hopefully Trump then.

brandonmole
You really have no idea what has really happened do you? 50 pieces of silver .. that's both a laugh and quite ironic I really cant see what it is you think Horton has done . when the doors were due to close after the 3 years Sandhu was happy to take his 50 gold pieces and disappear , and by the way what happened to all his promises of a new home for the Bees ,,Nothing because he never had any intention of finding anywhere .. who worked with the council residents developers and MP to get another 3 year stay of execution ? if you would sign a lease on a stadium that has been vandalised and had fixtures and fittings removed that would cost a fortune , then you are a bigger fool than your postings make you appear I think Buster has done the sort of job as frontman of the BSPA that has been lacking for years , how many times have we heard of clubs in trouble and cried out for the Bspa to get involved , maybe if we had a chairman like buster long ago , some of the clubs that have been lost forever would still be going now

SteveLyric2
Why would any promoter least of all Horton sign a lease for a facilty that has none of the basics for running speedway, without some sort of 'guarantee' that the facilities (or cash equivalent) are made available.

I'm sure Horton isn't blameless but to say he should have just signed is nonsense. He'd now be scrabbling around trying to furnish a stadium and somehow be trying to find the quarter of a million a year that he needs to even open the doors to the stadium. Sandu had already stated he'd make the stadium good So why didn't he sign ???

Sandu had already stated he'd make the stadium good So why didn't he sign ??? No one with any type of business brain would have signed that lease after the place was vandalised. It would have been a recipe for disaster. I hope the council grow a pair if speedway doesn't run and throw out any opportunity of building houses on this site for the forseeable future. Shale Searcher
Why did Sandhu rip the innards out in the first place, and in December? That makes no sense at all.... If he was gonna do that, he should have done it as soon as the last event staged was finished, not after the negotiations, and surely he should have taken them out without damaging/wrecking the substructures they were fitted to!!!! Done out of spite because he lost the lease to Horton and didn't like to have stock car lease terms dictated to him. Vandalism to stuff Horton right up. Which may well be at Poole, so don't expect him to perform that well will you?! Has Bates ever done well at Poole?

mdmc82
Which may well be at Poole, so don't expect him to perform that well will you?! Wow that was super fast from you. Knew you would have a negative comment about the reigning champion but that was quicker than I thought Why would anybody give Poole and their rut filled track a big competition. Even Holder commented on how bad it is nowadays Edited January 20, 2017 by mdmc82

RPNY
Mich Horton has a continued record of unreliability. The only big surprise here is how he was ever allowed to promote a Speedway team again.
Woz01
Buster says during Q&A that just before the start of it he received an email regarding Coventry that requires the attention of the committee. Interesting. Edited January 20, 2017 by woz01
