Woz01
I am hoping Kaspazak rides for Coventry against next year (with AJ as back up 😉) I would like to see Garrity & King back with the bees. Wouldn't mind ex bees Kylmakorpi or Zengota either. Max Fricke would be good as well. I guess it will depend on rule changes and averages. If there will be a draft list, heatleader list etc I think Kylmakorpi is ideal for that 3rd heatleader role.

How naïve you are , just wait till a couple of promotions formulate their teams , suggest about .25 a point above it & it will go through on the nod unopposed & bingo they name their teams within a week ...Isn't that how it works theses days ?

Woz01
Some of it depends on Mick's wallet It 'should' be a bigger budget next year now he's running the stadium. There should be no excuses in that regard.
Gemini
I am hoping Kaspazak rides for Coventry against next year (with AJ as back up ) Why would you want Kasprzak back when he misses lots of matches and we end up with a National League rider at number 1?
Bee 26
I think KK will be back at Poole. Would think we would try and get AJ back but he would come in on a fairly high average
SCB
Why would you want Kasprzak back when he misses lots of matches and we end up with a National League rider at number 1? If you sign any half decent European rider and they could be in the SEC though.
Woz01
If you sign any half decent European rider and they could be in the SEC though. That's true. Kylmakorpi could easily be in it but losing a 3rd heatleader doesn't have the same impact as losing a number 1. Having said that its difficult to get a number 1 who isn't in with a chance of being in the event unless you sign Holder or Hancock. Sir Jasper
He called a bellend a bellend on twitter apparantly!!! Who was he referring to?.. No, he originally called all fans who questioned why he was not at Wolves bell ends. With most directing the question at the club and him... He then decided to retweet a few tweets, so the usual sycophantic "real fans" would dive in and then he tried to suggest he was calling a particular fan a bell end.

High average that will only go one way.
Sir Jasper
Oh and then he challenged to meet a fan "FACE2FACE" and then later pointed out that he has done this a few times to fans.
Woz01
Can't see the call for Korpi all the time. High average that will only go one way. His average is about 6.6. Considering King and Kennett are over 7 I'd say that's great value! Edited September 21, 2016 by woz01
Gemini
What is Coventry's back up race night? Can they not do that when SEC is on? Not sure but whatever it is not many would bother going. Of course the solution would be to drop down to the Premier League and then we wouldn't have to bother about G.P's or SEC's. Perhaps we could even go back to how it used to be on a Saturday night ~ three Speedway and one Stock Car. No messing about and everyone knows when a match is on.
Woz01
What is Coventry's back up race night? Can they not do that when SEC is on? We ride on Friday so we already lose a few because of the GPS if we rode on an off night for SEC meetings too we would never ride Fridays! Back up night is Monday but we can ride most nights if desperate.
Bees_Man
I'm one that wouldn't be keen to drop to premier league. Don't interest me.

Gemini
I'm one that wouldn't be keen to drop to premier league. Don't interest me. Half the team is already made up of PL riders so what's the difference? I'd much prefer to drop down and see more variety of teams instead of the same 7 twice. It won't happen though unfortunately. mdmc82
CHRIS Harris says he needs to rekindle the spark in his career after submitting a written transfer request to Coventry Bees owner Mick Horton, <b><i>writes Observer speedway reporter Robin Allen. The 33-year-old made what could be his last appearance for the Bees last Friday as they lost 41-48 to Kings Lynn at Brandon. It capped off a miserable campaign for Gary Havelocks side who have won just one meeting on the road this season and they finished 14 points away from the Elite League play-offs. I just feel I need something to get me going, said Harris I think I sort of sloped in the chair and become stale. Its always hard being here as long as I have, you feel like you are part of the furniture spending so many years here with two years out on loan. Everyone expects you to come here and do everything, scoring points which I am paid to do, but I just wanted something different. I spoke to the misses to see what she thought and Emma is from Coventry, it is her club, but I want to do what is best for my career because I am not 21 anymore, I am a long way from that. We emailed Mick in the right way and asked if my name could be put out there to other clubs, I even said I am not bothered if he does not sell me, I will go out on loan just for a year to rekindle that spark and get me going. Long-serving Harris celebrated his testimonial early this year having spent 11 years with the Bees after signing from Peterborough in 2004. In that time he has won three league titles at Brandon including the treble-winning season of 2007. The only seasons he missed was 2011, when he was loaned to Belle Vue at a time when Coventrys participation in the league was in doubt due to the winter of discontent. He then made a local loan move to Birmingham in 2013 but returned to lead the Bees to the Elite League Grand Final the following year. This year however, the Brit has struggled domestically for Coventry and in the Grand Prix which resulted in him being overlooked for Great Britain in the World Cup in July. Harris added: The Grand Prixs have been terrible again, we have got going in the last few meetings with the speed and with the engines we got changed, which has got better. With Coventry I just think I need new surroundings every day because my workshop is here and I am here every day. I need to go to a club where I am not there every day. I have not really thought where I want to go, I want to make it clear though, that I have not spoken to any clubs yet and none have spoken to me, it is just something I have been thinking about for a while. With the last home meeting last week, I just wanted to let Mick know so I could say farewell to the fans and let Mick have the opportunity to make plans for next year, whether I was in his plans or not I do not know. I feel that I am a part of Coventry, I have been here so long, it is a great club, I love the club and it will always be a club that is close to my heart, I am sure that I will come back and maybe finish my career there.
