waiheke1
It's amazing people think that Cov could run at Leics ...the crowds would 400 -500 at best ...whoever tries it will be bust by about july ...yet another idea with no thought about the money side of the sport .fair enough. If it's not financially viable, then clearly it's a no go.
Trees
Telling Coventry fans to go to Leicester is like trolling Lynn fans to go support Ipswich .... Let's hope a last minute agreement is reached although trashing the stadium was criminal, now no houses EVER should be allowed on the site! Hope the Council grow some and revoke the agreement 😠

mdmc82
Wouldn't sharing any other track be preferable to nothing? Those of us who have no transport wouldn't be able to travel to Leicester so can't see the crowds being great. It would also show that the stadium was no longer needed as we technically had somewhere else to race which would make it easier to get planning permission to build house on Brandon without a new stadium being in place Edited November 30, 2016 by mdmc82

So if the promoter can't get Coventry back in go, would you prefer the club to run elsewhere or not at all? depends if the boss will pay everybody , if times get hard That can happen anyway. CB252
Yours wasn't much better, allegedly... The ultimate troll. You should try leaving Poole occasionally and see some other tracks. Sorry everyone, it's my own fault for replying to him. Even Shovlar has refrained from trying to antagonise Bees fans on this thread but this guy can't help himself.

You will have go through the questions to read the article. http://www.coventrytelegraph.net/news/coventry-news/deal-save-coventry-bees-speedway-12249301 Thanks for that, gustix. If the shambles at Belle Vue isn't bad enough for loyal speedway supporters, then this miserable episode pops up to compound the despair for decent speedway people. You begin to think that either speedway has some kind of a death wish or that the sport's supremos are far cleverer than us mere mortals and this is all part of some great master plan to revive the once great sport of speedway. Worried for the Coventry supporters here.
Trees
Wouldn't sharing any other track be preferable to nothing? No, once you've lost your own track it's not the same anymore. Yes go purely for the speedway (I probs wouldn't go to Ipswich even for speedway sake lol) but that's it for most ....

Is this the same company that are supposedly sponsoring the Bees next year? That's a different company, the one we are involved with is Jersey based and won't show up on companies house. I'm convinced Sandhu is involved in Brandon Estates.

I thought I remembered councillor Stokes saying that Sandhu had confirmed to him that he had no business interests in either the stadium or the land other than the stadium lease to the end of 2016. Jacques
I thought I remembered councillor Stokes saying that Sandhu had confirmed to him that he had no business interests in either the stadium or the land other than the stadium lease to the end of 2016. It depends of course how Mr Stokes has gained his information, is it fact, or is he going off what he has been told. I've been suspicious of this story for some time. I wonder why it's all been transferred to Jersey?
