Terry
I love young Max. He's got a great style and will be very good. But Robert is 2 years younger and already marginally ahead. If I had one complaint about Max it's that he's too relaxed, there a lack of "fight" in him from what I've seen but my God am I being picky with that observation! He's riding style is a lot like Leigh Adams, who wasn't known as a 'forceful' rider. Mind you if he achieves half of what Adams did he would have done well. Fromafar
Fricke and Lambert in the same league? I respectfully disagree, unless by 'league' you mean the Elite League and not referring to their classMaybe not at the same stage of career, but as far as talent on a bike they both have it.Fricke knows what he wants and knows how to go about achieving it.Lambert is a little suspect in that department regarding guiding his career with what I have seen up to now. Woz01
Fricke is ahead of Lambert but not by much, Lambert is of course younger. Both will be at the top of the sport in a few years, I'm fairly certain of that.
g13webb
Some races when Lambert turns it on, he is unbelievable. Some of his passes are out of the top drawer. Yet in others, he don't show the same impetus, tending to follow. Hence the suspect CMA.. I am in no doubt of his ability, but sometimes the attitude is left wanting.... I put it down to his young age and hopefully will grow out of it and into in a exceptional rider......... Probably even a Champion..... SCB
Absolutely 100% disagree Fricke is way ahead of Lambert right now and the leagues he's racing in doesn't lie Elitserien Fricke - 7.16 Lambert - 4.89 Ekstraliga Fricke - 6.54 Lambert - No Team Elite League Fricke - 7.13 Lambert - 6.95 Ive done some looking into this. Robert has ridden most meetings as an EL heat leader. Fricke all as second string. Robert tends to get heat 15 too. But didnt realise just how different their performances were in Sweden! mdmc82
I think both are good riders but I would rather Fricke in my team than Lambert. Better all round rider at the moment and a good attitude. Would have loved Max in the bees team
Ghostwalker
Fricke have done more meetings though. https://ta.svemo.se/Public/Pages/TeamSections.aspx?Branch=Speedway&Season=2016&Serie=Elitserien&PageType=Sections&pagesize=10&TeamId=523 https://ta.svemo.se/Public/Pages/TeamSections.aspx?Branch=Speedway&Season=2016&Serie=Elitserien&PageType=Sections&pagesize=10&TeamId=
waiheke1
Ive done some looking into this. Robert has ridden most meetings as an EL heat leader. Fricke all as second string. Robert tends to get heat 15 too. But didnt realise just how different their performances were in Sweden! So lambert has been comfortably better in UK, albeit fricke has no home track advantage.Lambert ahead in u21 champs. Fricke well ahead in Poland and Sweden. I'd say on balance fricke is ahead at this stage, but lambert is better than fricke at the same age. Both top quality youngsters, would argue lambert the better racer, but fricke at the certainly a sharper gater.
Trees
Re Sweden, Robert has only had about 3 mtgs for Masarna and his last one with a dodgy finger. Looking forward to watching their careers develop. Robert will always be a bit special being a fellow Norfolkian 😊
