tellboy
When a rider falls and causes another to lay down both riders aren't excluded, I would apply the same principle. Doyle stopped racing racing causing Jonsson to stop racing, Doyle excluded. Thought they were both as guilty as each other.Jonsson knew what he was doing,he wanted to finish behind Doyle and Doyle wanted to finish behind Jonsson. If Jonsson had gated you would have had the same thing at the end of the race.Either exclude them both or just let this sort of thing carry on. sparkafag
lets be honest, without it chances are Team USA would be on their way home right now. How?
BWitcher
Germany minus their number 1 scored 7. USA minus their number 1 scored 5. Why people seem to think Germany were hard done by because of the Greg Hancock being a 1 man team I'm not sure, Germany were too! And let's not forget the referee awarding a win to Lindback when Hancock won the race. He got suckered in by the celebrations which weren't for winning the race, but were for sealing Sweden's qualification.
OveFundinFan
I dont see that USA "would be on the way home right now". Take Joker points off Hancock (3) and take Joker points off Smolinski (2) and you still got USA being 3rd and throgh. And although the slowing down last night was blatant to everyone, it could so easily be made more subtle, so much so it would be impossible for a ref (or member of this forum) to judge correctly. dabbsjoe
I love Billy J and can't wait t see him on Friday (assuming they make it) but he couldn't ride big tracks when he was a regular EL performer with a 7 point (with bonus points) average, he is going to be spat out the back. Just hope he makes a gate or two to get in the way for a while he was the bonus point king when at Coventry. think that's why team mates loved riding with him. BWitcher
I get it, Doyle shut off because he thought Jonsson wasn't trying and when Jonsson shut off that just proved it, Jonsson excluded! I'm impressed that you could tell Jonsson wasn't racing until Doyle shut off. Really Doyle just summed up the ineptness of the Aussie tactics that night, the other two riders in the race were pish, he should have made a poorish gate and allowed Jonsson to get in front.

OveFundinFan
I like the Vastervik track, looked like loads of lines to take probably something to do with its width. They kept saying it was small track, what is the length of it??

Fromafar
When you watch the style and class of Max Fricke it makes you realise how far behind the young talent in GB is,we only have Robert Lambert in the same League.Watching Garrity and Bates holding on too their bucking Broncos brings it home IMO

He's got a great style and will be very good. But Robert is 2 years younger and already marginally ahead. If I had one complaint about Max it's that he's too relaxed, there a lack of "fight" in him from what I've seen but my God am I being picky with that observation! Absolutely 100% disagree Fricke is way ahead of Lambert right now and the leagues he's racing in doesn't lie Elitserien Fricke - 7.16 Lambert - 4.89 Ekstraliga Fricke - 6.54 Lambert - No Team Elite League Fricke - 7.13 Lambert - 6.
