Event 2 Vastervik 26/7/16

I think the big question for both Lagutas is visa entry. I have no idea what the problem is, but they have been refused entry in the past. Hope they are allowed to race- would make it one hell of a meeting.

From what I have read, Visas have already been sorted.

Don't think so. Spoilers and third.

Russia finished 4 behind Denmark with 7 for Greg Lagutas rides. Only need Greg to score 9 of 10 and they have the beating of Denmark. They were only 7 behind Poland! So 5 or 6 more from Greg and they're on a par with Poland Edited by SCB

According to report on Sportowe Fakty earlier today G Laguta is travelling to Manchester on Thursday to join the other Russian team members

Thats good news. If their machinery is up to scratch I can see them making it a 3 way battle for the top spot. Last couple of times the Russians have taken the WC seriously they have come up with shock wins in Vojens and Bydgozcz.

Hancock will no doubt score heavily but the other 3 Yanks only got 5 points between them tonight.

Pay for BT you thieving scum bag.

I phoned BT to ask how much it would cost to watch tonights WTC match and was quoted £21 pound. Fair enough I would have paid that but they wanted a £30 connection fee which I would not pay so I went round a friends house and watched it. I think your posting was in very bad taste or perhaps this is the type of language you normally use

To be fair my language probably would have been stronger but for the filters. I was always taught if you want something then pay for it, obviously you were brought up differently...

Is it everywhere in the UK then? I know it's banned @ Belle Vue but it's an astroturf type surface so understandable. Can understand if it is banned due to the amount of people and potential hazards on centre green

Should've excluded and fined Doyle for not racing, if both options are within the rules. Send a message that we don't want to see this and it isn't going to be tolerated.

Better still, scrap the joker option completely.

Surprised at how well Sweden went tonight. Its AJ that makes the difference - but you dont know which AJ is going to ride....the extremely good one or the average one. Tonight is was the extremely good one.

The difference was that, apart from Fredrik's TT, Sweden didn't have a single 3rd or 4th place. When an Australian rider won a heat,

a Swedish rider minimized the point loss by finishing 2nd. Australia lost lots of valuable points to USA and Germany.

However the real "secret" behind the victory is team manager Morgan Andersson.
