Alex2000
Well we meet again but we look a tad different this time... Eagles: Adam Ellis Gazza C (r/r) Georgie Wood Ellis Perks Jake Knight Luke Harris (possibly Powell) Tom Brennan Kent I presume Luke Bowen Luke Clifton James Shanes David Mason Danny Ayres Danno Grass verge Jack Thomas This will be a lot closer than the good Friday matches I hope. Would like to see the Kings go away with nothing however a draw could be on the cards. Edited July 22, 2016 by Al3x200

Hunters
We should get a decent points advantage from the top four but 11 rides between them for Luke and Tom against a decent bottom three is probably a bridge too far. Eagles 43 Kings 47 Edited July 22, 2016 by Hunters
gazzac
Think it'll be close, but hopefully have enough at the top end/middle order to secure the win, we still don't know what Tom Brennan can do, hopefully goes through the meeting injury free, and will gain in confidence getting a good points tally. 48/42. solrac
Tough to predict, very close with the reserves performance being pivotal in this one methinks.
cityrebel
Kent seem to have gone off the boil a bit recently. So i'm going for a narrow home win.
Alex2000
Dear Kent press officer- I don't love to hate Danny Ayres I think he's one of the most exciting riders in the league and I'm an Eagles supporter ! I see where your coming from though Also Adam Ellis might actually have some work to do tonight with Ayres and Bowen Edited July 23, 2016 by Al3x200
gee jay
making the trip up today ( you can tell the sun is shinning), i just hope that a smarting kings side wait to take it out on the brummies in the playoffs instead of us today , don't like 6 rider teams either . COME ON THE EAGLES !
Reviresco
Prediction: Danny "The Entertainer" Ayres to wind up the home support. After Mr Ayres performance on and off track on Thursday at Foxhall I am hoping to travel down (from Ipswich) for this meeting. It seems like a 100 years or more ago that I visited Eastbourne (probably 1984), so any current local knowledge (and info on the travel problems being knocked on by the Dover issues) would be very welcome, thanks. Also, may stay down overnight, so a cheap hotel room recommendation would be gratefully received. Thanks again.

TurnTwo
I think everyone has underestimated the power of Eastbournes number 4. A premier league number 7 who got 6+1 last night round Plymouth. He could well score double figures.
Brummiestormer
Just like to wish Tom Brennan all the best after seeing his crash he deserves a fair run at things
ruckerroo
V g meeting between 2 top sides, eastie deserved to win because of the appalling refs decision in ht 8 which is as bad as ive seen in donkeys year, a rite shocker by mz turnbull
Alex2000
Interesting meeting with Tom Brennan pulling off an absolutely fantastic first lap to take the lead in heat 2 and lead by quite a margin. He did then seem to lose his engine for a couple of races, must have miss placed it before finding it again to secure a crucial 3-3. 6 points in your first ever NL meeting what more could you ask for great riding! Jake knight showing signs of lack of racing I'm surprised no PL have called on him as he has been good this year. Thankfully we beat the Kings! I queued to get out the carpark as well not done that for a while!
teaboy279
Fair result over all and one I would have accepted prior to tapes up. Heat 8 exclusion was pretty amazing tbf but things evened up when Danny Ayres got knocked off in heat 13. On that subject I do wish fans would save cheering until they know the rider is ok, twas a big roar before he had even bounced off the fence. But effectively a good night with no real controversy affecting the result. Great for Brennan to score a couple of wins, Georgie Wood very good indeed but mom the match for Mr is James Shanes, not sure how many times Ellis has been beaten at Arlington this year but I bet it's not many. Good atmosphere and biggest speedway crowd I ve seen at Arlington for many many years.

Mike.Butler
heat 8 decision could have gone either way.. Out of the 5 of us neutrals on 1st bend two had it one way, two the other, and I couldn't call it.
