colin wood
Just hope everyone at the NSS gets behind the team.Whoever got picked is on to a hiding to nothing looking at the strength of the other teams.Bronze medal would be a great achievement.
fliss44
Instead of acting like a mardy sod as usual then perhaps it should have made him more determined to prove Rosco's decision was wrong. Oh dear Gemini --- open up a can of worms why don't you? Lol
Gemini
Not to worry. I'm okay because the friend I sit with at Brandon, who is a big Bomber fan, never comes on this forum. Edited July 23, 2016 by Gemini

I think rosco is a clown and not fit to manage team GB and to leave the most committed rider for team gb out is wrong, bomber has always busted a gut for team gb. Bomber has nothing to prove now, he has been a good and loyal servant to British speedway

Bomber has had his day, time to move on.

Bomber has a higher average than all 3 of them and far more experience, a stupid mistake to leave him out.

Says it all really.

Is king a regular GP rider, how many times has king been on the rostrum at a GP ? Has King won more British finals than bomber, has King ever been higher in the averages than bomber. Who has more international caps ? Says it all really
OveFundinFan
Think that way, robert72, and top riders would never retire because their experience, their history, will always be at a higher level then most of their opponents. Bomber has had his day, hes been on the rostrum, won a GP (how many years ago, which all adds up as something he and speedway fans can treasure - but today he is clearly not the competitor he once was. Take his third place podium in Prague this year. He did well to get third, but I saw a review of that meeting recently and whilst he scored the points to get the prize, in some races he was well behind (but still in the points). Whereas at Cardiff Danny King was in what many would say was the race of the night, and 7 from 5 rides is pretty good for a non GP regular.

Says it all really No it does not, most people realise that Danny is doing better than Chris recently, just look at the British Final and the Cardiff GP. Bomber has been a stalwart of the British team and I would have him there on Sat as a motivator and if next year he is beating Danny and the other Brits in most meetings then I am sure he would be included.

Is a bit of a myth that King is in better form. Bomber is out scoring King. Not the two meetings that everyone was looking at though. Bomber may have a higher average, but Danny has now twice had higher scores than Bomber at Belle Vue, and at Cardiff against GP riders, scores elsewhere do not really matter so Rosco has made the correct choice. Didn't say he didn't make the correct choice just that it's a myth King is in better form, he isn't. Think Bomber is regretting testing in the British Final, bizarre choice to make. Woz01
at some point in there careers riders start to go down hill slowly look at Booey a steady decline it happens Think he hasn't performed the same on the world stage since the new silencers were bought in. His league form over last few years hasn't dropped much though.
Dornier
I think that had Bomber been chosen he would probably have come up with the goods BUT he was too much of a risk for Rosco to take, had he not delivered Roscos life wouldn`t have been worth living..I really don`t understand Bombers performances lately but as Woz says he doesn`t seem to have mastered the new silencers.
